"We stayed for just one night but it one of those places that is very โ€˜hawaii.โ€™ While itโ€™s not a Four Seasons, but the rooms were comfy, the scenery was stunning and the breakfast was simple but oh-so-fresh (fruits, eggs, toast and the tastiest coffee). Be ready for some nature in the rooms - we had a few geckos visit us as well as a frog hiding in the toilet (he escaped just fine!) - the staff is such a delight and eating breakfast on the lanai was perfect."

"Our hosts were knowledgeable about the area and friendly. The view from our balcony (lฤnai) was amazing with all the lush plants and flowers. The breakfasts were delicious and hardy! We even loved the coqui frogs singing us to sleep at night!"

"Kurt and Kana-thank you for everything! We were in Crows Nest room for 7 nights - the room is very comfortable with everything you needed.Amazing ocean view!Delicious and healthy breakfast with fruits direct from the garden-great job Kana!We had the best coffee ever! We highly recommend!!!"

"This propertyโ€™s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarahโ€™s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn youโ€™ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property. At night is very dark and the closest place for diner is 30โ€™ away down town so plan to buy before you get back from your excursions if you don't want to drive at night. Every single beach near and far has opportunity for snorkeling but bring proper water shoes. Overall we liked the property but we are pretty easy to please. Highly recommend the boat tours!"
