10/10 Excellent

"Amazing pool with waterslides, basketball and volleyball, kiddy beach and adult areas, something for everyone. We loved having a kitchen and the propane grills outside (just get groceries in Kona or pay a premium). Hard to beat breakfast with a view on the patio. The area is very peaceful and beautiful. The staff were super helpful, always checking in on any needs. Beds were so comfortable and soft. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel, we really felt like we were enjoying a luxurious Hawaiian lifestyle."

"I’ve stayed here twice and this hotel is really special! The downtown shopping and restaurant area, is literally right there…you can walk to everything from this hotel. The property itself, is lovely — with lots shops, an ABC store, coffee shop, restaurant, as well as pool, bar and small beach. For me, the best thing is all the beautiful artwork and history surrounding King Kamehameha, his family and heirs. Hawaii has a rich history, and it’s on display at this hotel! The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. I will stay again!"

"I enjoyed my stay at the resort and LOVED my room. The walkways offered a museum feel and provided something to look at each day. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. I wish the Tram was faster but that is my only complaint. I ate off the resort so I cant comment on the food, but loved the availability of the shuttles to the shopping centers and the Lava Lava Club."

"I really enjoyed my stay here.. met all my expectations. Wasn't until the last couple days I ordered food to back to my room at the food truck by the pool and was left highly disappointed... if I ate near the pool and not packaged to go the food portions were appropriate.. otherwise i felt completely ripped off. Don't want to punish the resort for a couple few bad actors that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Ordered food on 6/2 @ 11:30am."
