"The hotel is right in the enter of town. It is a close walk to all the sites. The breakfast service was excellent and offered the opportunity to enjoy coffee and breakfast outside. The staff was incredibly helpful to me as a solo first time traveler to Italy. Victorious and Massimo were incredibly helpful as I was having great difficulty getting train tickets to Milan."

"Wow this hostel was truly an all-inclusive experience. We got a private room and it was HUGE! Our room was clean and everything was up to par. The hotel is in an exceptionally walkable area. There’s a streetcar and bus that you can catch right from the Florence train to the hotel which was very convenient. The pool area was a fantastic amenity and relaxing escape from the bustling city. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this property. Only slight issue is the long check in line but it goes by fast. "

"We were here for only one night due to a train transfer to Rome airport but this was an excellent choice. There is an underground tunnel immediately outside the front door that leads to the train station. Breakfast opened at 7am which was perfect considering most other hotels we stayed at started later. This allowed us to grab a quick bite prior to departure. The area outside can be quite congested due to the train station but it is less than a 5 minute walk to the Duomo and 20-25 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. At breakfast ( located at the 5th level), the spread was abundant and we were blown away by the views including the Duomo. There is an outstanding rooftop as well. The room was large by European standards with a very high ceiling and wood coffered. They had complimentary cold drinks and juices in the fridge. All in all, we had stayed here 20 years ago and were very impressed with the updates and the makeover. The staff were all very accommodating and pleasant. Would easily stay here again. "

"The staff was awesome and the area fantastic. The rooftop view amazing. I would caution though to make sure there are no stairs to your room once you get out of the elevator. We ended up with 17 stairs to get to our room. My bad as I should have asked or made it known we needed accessibility. Lesson learned. Overall we did okay. "
