The reduced price was good but i would have left early if it was full price the reception staff were friendly and helpful. However the hotel are advertising things that they do not have . No gym , no laundry service, no restaraunt, breakfast was terrible (cold rice or noodles and some bread for toast but the jam ran out on the second day and wasn't replaced) , the pool they advertise is about 6 feet long and 3 feet deep ( a kids paddling pool ), no business center. Hotel is in a state of disrepair ,with vwrious things broken or not working properly.

Was kind of dissapointed with this hotel. The reviews had made me expect sthg better. The place is not bad, but I am sure you can get a nicer hotel in PP for the same money, in a better location. Small room, very basic decoration (a bit run down) and very limited breakfast included in the price. Takes a 20 minute tuktuk ride to get to the Center. Would have much rather preferred to stay around Bassan Lane for example.

Paid extra when arrived!!!
Arrived at the hotel to be told that hotels.com are advertising their room rates too low. We ended up having to pay extra and hotels.com have not been helpful in the situation at all!! We paid extra but for the “inconvenience” we got ‘upgraded’..... Breakfast was basic; toast, egg, rice or noodles. (Not for the westerners) The pool is approx 1m deep and small with only 4 sun beds. Location is ok Positive - there was always a tuk tuk outside the hotel, staff were friendly and apologetic.

Great place near Russian market.
Quite nice and clean . Staff was terrific. Not a lot offered for breakfast but it was tasty. Many English channels on tv. Some street noise as everywhere in Phnom Pehn. I used ear plugs and had no problems . It was definitely worth the money and I would absolutely stay there again .

This is basically a good hotel, location is good for those who like to be near the russian market. Frendly staff and all rooms have a balcony.

Decent hotel
The staff was friendly and welcoming. This hotel is situated far from the main attractions but close to the Russian market. You have no choice but take a tuk tuk. Our room was incredibly small, no hand or face towels and when we showered, the entire bathroom floor was wet. The bed sheets were itchy and housekeeping did not leave us enough toilet paper so we constantly had to call them. The breakfast was great and large variety!

Okay hotel
The hotel was fine, polite friendly staff. Just a few petty complains, there were two set of spider webs in the room, one actually had a spider in it! The bed sheet was bubbly and didn't feel great to sleep on with bare skin. The breakfast options were a good few but when requesting my choice they didn't have several options. The toast I had instead with jam wasn't great either.

Great place to stay
The room was clean and tidy, comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and very friendly. It is a little way from the centre of the city but it is within walking distance to the Russian Market and some good local restaurants and shops. Would stay again.

Nice hotel - little to do around
Hotel was fine and staff very helpful. It's good if you want to visit the Russian market, but for me too far from most things with little to do around and about - a few small coffee shops and restaurants. i wanted to get a motorbike taxi in the morning but there were none around - only tuk tuks.

An Oasis of Calm .
I really enjoyed my time there . I left this hotel to stay in a more central hotel but after a noisy and sleepless mosquito bitten night I happily returned to The Midtown. The going rate for a tuk tuk to the city centre is $4 , a small price to pay for peace , quiet , and safety. Strong Wi Fi throughout. The hotel's biggest asset is definitely it's staff . The staff are superb ! Friendly, helpful , hard working group and with a real genuine smile. I looked forward to my breakfast each day not for the great buffet but for the smiling staff who greeted me there , they were fantastic . Nothing was too much trouble for them . The girls on the reception desk were equally super helpful ,friendly , and efficient, they arranged taxis to and from the airport for $12 . I stayed on a high floor to the back of the hotel , which was nice and quiet . Phnom Pen is a noisy city. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for value , safety , and it's friendliness .

My overall experience was very good. The hotel is very clean, quiet and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food was really good, whether it is for breakfast or dinner, I really enjoyed every single meal that I got.

very clean hotel with nice and friendly staff
the room was very clean and spacious, with a balcony to see the view. friendly and accommodating staff ( Alonna, Leangma, Rachna, Chanthea) laptop can be used by guests for free. breakfast is good, restaurant is big and clean. thanks to Alonna who gave me a pretty shawl after I checked out.

Although far away from the river that suited us fine as its unpleasant there. Instead the hotel is situated in the heart of an upcoming and hip neighbourhood, filled with excellent places to eat, bars, cafes and shops. We we're given a free upgrade to a deluxe room so for the price absolutely excellent and very luxurious. Breakfast we found to be brilliant with lots of good options. However the main draw of the hotel is the staff who almost killed us with kindness

perfect hotel once you learn your way around the neighborhood. However DO NOTICE order the PORRIDGE for breakfast. It has nothing to do with porridge! Nescoffee powder instead real coffee, but you get used to it. All in all a great hotel with nice rooftop pool and sitting area open 24 /7! Will always stay with them as long as the prices are not raised too much.

Nice Hotel but Out of Town
Stayed 3 nights whilst exploring Phnom Penh. Be aware this is a new Hotel and several taxis didn't know where it was. This Hotel is $5 Tuk Tuk or $10 Taxi from main tourist area at Royal Palace. The breakfast at Restaurant was great. Restaurant wasn't open for lunch or dinner and no room service. There's a nice coffee shop cafe opposite Hotel but it was closed when I was there. Dining or snack options limited. Room was large clean and modern. Wifi and TV excellent. Overall great option for $ if wanting to be outside the main City area and even better when cafe opposite opens, though room savings need to be weighed against Tuk Tuk or Taxi costs.

We stayed at The Midtown for 5 days while we were waiting to move into our apartment. The hotel had recently opened so everything was new and clean. The staff were very helpful and anxious to please. The room was very comfortable and good value at 25 USD which was their opening offer. The location was good for us as our NGO is near the Russian Market. If I was visiting PP as a tourist I wouldn't choose this area - I would stay closer to Riverside.

Really enjoyed my stay at mid town. Staff are super friendly and always happy to help. Room was great, double bed, balcony with a view of mid/downtown. A little noisy between construction work of a day and karaoke bar at night but this is to be expected in SE Asia. Bathroom facilities were great, shower pressure and temperature fine. Pool is a little bigger than a bath so don't expect to improve swimming technique or to splash about. Breakfast is your choice of egg plus buffet style rice, noodles, bacon, sausage and tea and coffee. Location is walking distance to Russian market but all other sights and nightlife is a tuk-tuk away.

Best service we've ever had
Room was great, pool a nice way to cool down. Cannot stress enough how all staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed (ie. City info., arranging Vietnam visa, tuk tuks)

Ein gutes Hotel,leider bisschen außerhalb der Stadt. Eine Fahrt in die Stadt mit dem Tuk Tuk kostet 3-4 $ und dauert ca. 10 Minuten. Russian Market in der Nähe.
