Friendly staff, room was always clean. Breakfast was always delicious, pool was in shaded area of property so we chose to use the roof top pool across the street which was perfect. Also the beach was a block away as well as famous 5th Ave. Very ideal location with inexpensive accommodations. Simple and favorable property conditions with 24 hour staff. If your on a budget this place was great!

Everything is pretty good to stay for a while. Advantages is a kitchen in the property and walking distance to different beaches. At night is pretty loud until 12-12.30 am.

The property is nice and close to everything but not quiet at night. Breakfast in the morn is great! Staff is really nice and helpful. There’s an odd odor as well, maybe the plants? Otherwise cute place.

Great location and excellent customer service

No hot water in room 201. Mirrors slightly dirty. Sheets/pillow cases smelled of body odor. No WiFi, no tv that worked. Good location, excellent customer service, made every effort to appease problems, was provided with free breakfast at nearby restaurant which was very yummy. Nice atmosphere, gardens. Rooms were larger than expected and nice. Bed and pillows were comfy for enjoyable sleep.

Wifi does not work in the bedrooms. They only cleaned twice in a 7 day stay although we had asked them on two different days to clean and said they would but didn’t. We booked an extra night with front desk at a certain price only to back to pay and it was a much higher then told. We didn’t extend our stay.

A nice choice, near the 5th Avenue (a big plus) and the Mamitas Beach. You have plenty of options for food and beverages. The property is interesting very holistic. The room is enormous! The thing i didn't like is that my TV didn't have cable or... service... I needed to ask ay reception about a Rokú to watch... nothing, because it was blocked by a PIN that i didn't had... The wi-fi was good, but you need to connect to other network, not the one that the info tells you. A big plus: the breakfast, plenty of options, but the only day i was there, i ask for the chef's recommendation, and it was a fail... they didn't gave me anything else.

Loved staying here. Originally booked for 1 night and ended up booking 3 more nights. Very chill atmosphere, it is noisy at night from the street and the music, so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Breakfast was wonderful. Only issues were a little more language barrier than I’d have thought, no lights for each bunk, so hard to do anything if anyone is sleeping and 1 toilet for 10 people. But overall AMAZING stsy!

My toilet broke, the handle on my bedroom door fell off and I got trapped in my room. The sheets were stained and room wasn't very clean. There was no hot water. The staff was great though and the location was right in the middle of town.

There is no signboard with the hotel name.　The music from the nearby bar continues until around midnight and is very noisy.　There are many dark and suspicious shops compared to the main street.Residents' personal belongings were scattered throughout the dormitory's kitchen and shared shower room.　I stayed there just to sleep, but I don't think I can survive there.

The doorknob to my room was broken. Towels are very old, torn and dirty looking. Shower head squirts water from 9 tiny holes. Bathroom smells like urine. Staircase to room is dirty with stains.

Finding the place with no sign outside made it impossible to find eithout troubling other merchants. My res was lost, the clerk insisted i had responsibility because thhe printout page didnt mention their name (as if the streetfront did) took over 40 minutes to check in.rooms were better waitstaff great

The property was clean and close to everything. We booked for two queens but got a king bed so we had to share. The kitchen had no pots and pans or utensils. We asked the reception and one staff said they don't provide them, so had to buy them. three days later, one staff said that they do provide them and gave us a pot. It stated that we would get a welcome drink but got none. When we asked, the receptionist said, we could get one tomorrow.

The hotel is located in a nice area of Playa del Carmen with lots of places to have fun, but the hostel for men only have one shower and one toilet for more than 8 guys to use it, and some of the employees come to take showers there too. theres a bar downstairs that plays music live till 1 or 2am that makes very hard to sleep, some of the front desk people are rude, specifically a lady who always has a smelling poop face, the hand soap container to wash your hands after using the toilet is usually empty and one day of the week I spent there, nobody came to clean around, overflowing kitchen and bathrooms waste baskets, also bad doors and broken electrical outlets which is dangerous., but the place has lots a potential with some improvements!!

Fell down the stairs since they decided to use plastic slick paint on the handrails which are also covered on tree gunk, the stairs are steep with a few remnants of anti slip strips, those are nearly eroded from I suspect are multiple falls. The staff heard the commotion and witness the bruises on myself and my toddler, their answer was to evade the topic and just indicate that they couldn't take care of it because of bad weather, some rain. On the last morning there was a block energy blackout and of course this dingy place had no back up power, which led to us precariously trying to not fall again while climbing the death stairs now without any light to help find the last remnants of anti slip strips No TV service, bad WiFi, bad toilets. This place is lucky I'm not litigious which might be what has led to such an abismal service.

Good for a short stay in Playa

We were thankful to be on the main level, not needing to carry our luggage up 2 floors, but we were not put in the room that we paid for. We paid for a 2 bed room, and we were given a King bed. We were told they were full and none available. Then when I showed my receipt stating we paid for 2 beds they had a room but it was on the 3rd floor and the AC was off. Breakfast is just around the corner, but their English is quite limited. We didn’t realize that they had a set menu for hotel guests, but when they tried to translate, it didn’t make sense. The pool was nice, but in need of some TLC and FULL of pollen. The other grounds and greenery were beautiful.
