"This travelers haven is by far one of the best we've stayed at. It's new and modern with every amenity you could ask for. Our included breakfast in our room was fabulous and we felt like royalty. Hotel Rialto

10/10 Excellent

"Location, location, location. The location of this hotel cannot be beat. A few steps from the Rialto Bridge with all kinds of public transportation right in front. The hotel is also beautiful, housed in an old and elegant building. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The only negative was the size of our room, which is, of course, a not uncommon issue with European hotels in the older parts of a city. But the positives easily outweighed this one negative, and we definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be in the middle of the action."

"The staff was extremely helpful, location great but the shared bathroom is the most disgusting thing that I have experienced. The bathroom was constantly dirty, blood stain on the toilet, there was always pee on the floor, around the toilet and on the toilet as well. First and last time I book a shared bathroom room."

"The room was clean, but there was a horrible sewer smell when the windows were closed and the AC was on. In fairness to the hotel, we got there late, so I did not ask to get a different room after we checked in (we were only there 1 night). Maybe they would have accommodated. The smell was also present in the lobby but not as strong. Our room was on the second floor."

"Front desk was rude and dismissive-both at check in and when we called for an inquiry. There was hardened gunk all over the floor. The flusher was in disrepair and fell apart. Everything is old. You cannot shower without wetting the toilet completely and you must contort dangerously to get out of the bath/shower. We aren't picky travelers but this was too much going wrong even for us."

"Didn't know there was 2 parts to the property but it made it easier to enter through the Annex rather than the front door all the time. Other than that, inside the hotel was well kept and clean and staff informed me of events happening that week to make sure there is no delays to my departure. Bed was super comfortable and area was quiet. No complaints!"

"The property is just a short walk to St Mark’s square. Perfect room for a solo traveler. Mine had a small step on balcony where I could watch the gondoliers navigate the narrow canal below and hear plentiful church bells as the tourists watched from a small bridge. Not all rooms have it so inquire first. The breakfast you can purchase is plentiful. The bar next door is accessible from the lobby. The water bus stop is a few steps away. The water taxi (90 Euros) will pick you up at a lobby door on the canal. Elevator provided for floors."

"Staff are trying their best. Have to call out the night front desk guy (I think Marco?) Sicilian with bright orange glasses. He gave us the best restaurant recommendations and we ended up having a 3 hour dinner at the best restaurant in Venice. It's just the insane luggage porter and water taxi setup is actively overwhelming them. Constantly having to direct people to ATMs, calling for porters, it's all too much. Hotel was very clean. Only place I've stayed in Venice without visible bedbugs. TV had Chromecast which was really appreciated. Better signage and systems to allow better communication for staff between guests would go a long way. Even a WhatsApp number would help."
