"Fully paid for room in hotels.com. At counter for check in on 8pm on 01May26. Wait for 2hours no room available with heavily over booking and crowds of people in lobby waiting for rooms. Decided to seek PlanB at this late hour after 10pm. Request for cancelation and refund through hotels.com. No acknowledge receipt was Issued to us. We left to find alternative accommodation with the understanding that we will be refunded by 12noon on 02May26 but no payment received."

"Room is spacious, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Housekeeping are also very quick to our to our request for amenities. The concierge staffs are polite and very helpful in helping us carry our luggage. "

"A simple 1 nite stay at Pontian. Not bad for the price paid. No view, as the room was either beside the main road or in between the slip road that goes to the Econ supermarket nearby. Small room but clean, although towels is a bit yellowish. Suggest to bring your own towels. Toilet are clean as well."
