"I spent a lot of time reading reviews searching for a great hotel in Times Square, so I'm happy to write one on behalf of Arlo. The stay was excellent, the hotel has a great vibe. Excellent location, easily walkable to both MSG/Penn Station and Times Square. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the cafe. Rooftop deck was awesome! The staff was super helpful and friendly. It seems silly to recommend a hotel over great elevators but this was a perk for us after previously having stayed up the street at a big name hotel and having to wait for up to 10 PACKED elevators before being able to get on. There are 5 elevators and we never waited for more than a minute. I will definitely stay there again."

"This place is great in concept and pretty good in execution. The location is perfect, the rooms and beds are small but comfortable enough and very clean. Bottom line is I've stayed here twice and would stay here again. The devil is in the details. Without much on-site presence by a manager, a lot of small matters go overlooked: running out of toilet paper in a bathroom, a kitchen that has a well-disguised microwave and no microwave-safe dishes to allow you to use it, refrigerator space for each guest but not necessarily space sufficient for basics to stand up a standard carton or milk or cold coffee. Although the remote for the A/C in the room looks very straightforward, I found it unpredictable to use. So if you're hoping to stay a while, count on regular emails to the off-site building manager that sometimes help and sometimes don't."

"Clean and comfortable rooms. Steep stairs, however, and no elevator - the 2nd floor was ok, thankfully, but we would have struggled on the 4th. So it depends what room you get. Cute place overall, 24/7 staff that are helpful and nice. Kitchen and a lovely little garden downstairs. The lock on our door was not in the best shape, thankfully there was a safe. Shower didn't really get hot. Good location though, and on the whole our needs were met. Would probably stay here again if we're around and the price is right."
