The ocean looks nothing like the advertised pictures. That was very disappointing but otherwise the resort was nice.

You need upgrade on the water pressure on the hotel I had no pressure and no hot water for 5 days no one could not switch my rooms and they try fixing it 3 times no better and bedding needs to be more comfortable other than the employees awesome

Had a great time on my bday trip with friends. Room was spacious and the hotel was beautifully done. Very Caribbean vibes with palm trees and greenery. Beach area was very nice and serene. The water was not clear like typical Caribbean Sea as it had rained a few times during stay and I believe a river flows into the area as well. It was still nice and warm and water was calm. Staff was amazing and they always had entertainment night and day. Everyone was friendly and food options were delicious. Pool area was nice and big and plenty of space for everyone. Of course swim up bar was main attraction! Definitely would come back again.

However, this does not mean that Bahia La Romana is not a clean or unsuitable beach for bathers, as a very strict cleaning routine is carried out on a constant and daily basis.

The picture is very misleading. The water is a mud pit. It is not blue or clear. A river dumps into the ocean at that resort. We lost electricity in our room about 10 times per day and couldn't get anyone to acknowledge the issue. I'm sure that it was an ongoing issue with that room, but they just danced around the problem and we gave up after 4 days. The check-in process was extremely difficult with the app. It took over 2 hours to get all the information input and saved because of the poor design. It wasn't user error - I'm a software engineer. The app sucks and they won't communicate with you until it's complete. They scheduled a bedhop to come get us at 2:30 am and take us to the lobby to check out and catch our ride to the airport for an early flight. No one showed up and the phones were not working. We had to haul our luggage down the stairs and across the property to meet our ride. We are both over 65. The adult quite pool is where we stayed for the entire vacation and it was wonderful. Great, great staff at that pool. Food was fabulous and the waiters, cleaners, and yard folks were also very nice. Some of the desk and guest services were obviously not interested in our issues with the electrical.

I dont recommend la romana area at all, there is a river that falls into the ocean around that area so the water is very dirty. The beach is dark green water. Dont recommend! DO NOT GO HERE

Really enjoyed our stay here. All inclusive buffet was 10/10 with so many options to choose from. The rooms were clean and house keeping came everyday. The location of our room was very close to the function area of the adult only side. Music often playing late into the evening was very loud. Beach was very nice and comfortable chairs. This was close to bars and daily activities. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was very wheelchair friendly facility and the food was great with a wide variety. Overall we had a great stay!

The surrounding property is very well kept. The grounds are cared for on a daily basis. The staff here do an excellent job in carrying out their duties. The shower in the room I stayed in was a bit small (I'm a bit over 6 feet tall).

I truly enjoyed my stay at the resort. This is more of a relaxing escape from me versus partying, but that is definitely also an option on the resort. The staff is great and friendly, and the entertainment is great as well! The beaches aren’t Crystal blue but they are very clean with lots of lounge chairs on the beach and by the pool. The grounds of the property are absolutely stunning with mango avocado and coconut trees everywhere. The only negative thing that I have to say about the resort is that there is very little warm water to shower with so if your fan of cold showers then this is your place. The food was also very decent with the huge selection of fresh tropical delicious fruit every day. The à la cart restaurant we visited was very, very mediocre and the food on the buffets are much better.

All the staffs are friendly and accomodating, the property is so clean, beautiful and organized. Rooms is excellent. Best thing about my experience is that we requested to have a connecting room for my brother in law family as they have 3 teen age kids and also us to be right beside each other ( 3 rooms) they did not guarantee it first but we got what we requested. The swim up pool is amazing, the restaurant and food is well organized, different food choices everyday and every meal. Though the place is excellent and would highly recommend, there is always a room for improvement. It would be nice if the staff speaks basic english so guests can communicate with them. Entertainment should also be english as most guests dont understand spanish, pool should also be available to swim late night as guests came to enjoy to have access at the pool anytime , specially in a hot weather. Also the a la carte restaurant is always fully booked would have wanted to experience it with the family, suggest that every guest should have an opportunity to dine in if they choose to walk in. Thank you for our amazing time. We will surely come back again.

The staff were very accommodating and worked hard to meet needs of the guests. It was hard to make dinner reservations and there are only three Al a carte options. Our beach view room was great but I have been to much better resorts.

We had a great experience but there are few things that could actually be better especially the shower since there is absolutely not pressure coming out means it’s very hard to take a good shower and if you have long hair it takes forever to get rid of shampoo or soap in general you want to get clean after being in the beach or anything and this is hard with the little water we get. Hotel is very pretty, staff are amazing! Only one lady called (myleidy) was awful and nasty attitude. Food and drinks are great and my room was beautiful!!

Jose Marte captain at el pescador and in the buffet was amazing and very accommodating helped us all throughout our trip since day one. Amazing service from him and making us feel welcome and preparing a surprise for a birthday as well.

La propiedad es vieja. El hotel es más de persanas mayor. Los cuartos viejos y el aire de mi cuarto no funcionaba. La varieda en la comida super limitada y la calidad no es la mejor.

Great treatment by the staff, the beer had a really bad taste and the food also, the A/C did not work properly.
