Pleasant outlook with views to the mountain, however the chalets are in need of a general update. This is quite an old property and would gain much from a renovation.

I have booked a Junior Suite room. But upon check-in, the staff told me that there would be no TV channel in my room. Later I realised that the room opposite (which is a smaller type of room) had the TV on inside the room! My room was very big and spacious. It was supposed to be the mountain view but all I could see was only the tip of the mountain as there is a huge and tall fences infront of the room! I had to go to the outside of the hotel’s restaurant to see the full view. The water heater was working but the water pressure was low. The breakfast (not included in the room’s price) was not good either. The location was good, just a walking distance to the small town. Overall, it’s not worth the price and will not stay in the hotel again.

It was facing the mount Kinabalu ,very nice view from our hotel.Very clear view of the mountain in the morning.but very upset there were no freezer provided to store our food.At least small freezer will do.Thanks.

I rate as 3 out of 10. Looks nice in photo only.
The toilet was leaking. Facilities too basic with no wardrobe to hang towels. Not value for money at all.

Stay here for one night. Room looks quite old. Room has no fridge. The lighting inside the room suitable for honeymoon couple not for family (dim light). Breakfast also limited - fried mee, nasi lemak & porridge with hot tea / coffee. If want cold water, have to buy . The best thing here is the scene is superb especially at the cafe where the Mount of Kinabalu can clearly be seen. Staff also helpful

Great location, very near to the "town" at Kundasang, walking distance to KFC, Kundasang Memorial War Musuem. the view from our room to Mt Kinabalu is awesome, you can also view it from the restaurant, it's superb!!! The room condition is normal or below average, 2-3 stars rating. Can be improve by providing better room slipper, more choices on TV channel (only Malay channel available), brighter lighting in the room. The breakfast included have few choices to choose, the 2nd day I ordered Nasi Lemak and asked for more sambal, the staff said it's chargeable which I felt it's too "stingy" . Overall the hotel is OK, only the mountain view from the hotel impressed me. And great location

Great place to stay!
Very convenient place to stay nearby famous place to visit, restaurant, town area. Most wonderful experience is the nice view of mount kinabalu in the morning!

Nearby to the town. 5mins walking to town (restaurants, KFC), 5mins drive to the War Memorial, 10-15mins drive to Desa dairy farm & Cats farm. Spectacular Mt. Kinabalu view.

The villa that we stayed was good comfort. Its just that we water was straight from the mountain so dont expect to have hot water even their using water heater with pump. The view was spectacular!

Nice view and convenient location
Had a great stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The view from the hotel is amazing as my studio chalet is facing the mount KKm although it all depends on the weather. My family and I had great time chilling outside the balcony in the morning, overlooking the Kundasang town, farm and mountain. The location of hotel is 100%, just by roadside near town area. It is easy to go anyway around kundasang since it's in the middle of every where. Totally recommended for those who don't plan to drive uphills. Downside is the hotel condition, it need a bit maintenance due to old age. Breakfast was ok, but we only get 2 free breakfast for a room that accommodate 4 person.

The room quite high for the conditions and services. Room furnitures quite outdated and the sofa also worn down. Management should consider replacing all old furnitures. Bathroom also need to improved. Overall just a decent stay BUT quite high for the kind of room provided.

Studio chalet: Terrible experience! Foul smell in the room. Pipe at the toilet bowl keeps dripping, result in ponding near the entrance. Floor trap in the shower is in the centre, water could not flow down causing small flood. Bulbs not in good condition. No shampoo no shower gel provided. Paid RM450 for a night, very unreasonable!

An old place
This place is quite old and rundown. The room furnitures are old and worn out. Staff are generally friendly. They provide breakfast with the room. Our room does get the Mt Kinabalu view but partially blocked by the roof of a building. A night stay is ok.

Nicely located lodge at Kundasang
Good location, close to the village market and shopping center, nice view of the mountain from back terrace. Descent room with minimum amenities, room is mainly made of wood hence strong smell inside. Good food and breakfast at the restaurant, with helpful and kind attendants/front desk receotionists. Overall a pleasant stay.

Beautiful view of nature and friendly staffs
My stay has been relatively pleasant with a clean room and friendly staffs who are quite eager to please their guests. The only 2 things I am not entire happy are (1) Front office staff who is not careful with managing my confirmed booking. I even gave her a printed copy of my itinerary and she can still make mistake. I could easily have to sleep in my rented car because she only reconfirmed my booking for 1 night instead of 2 nights! (2) The water heater in my room is not functioning properly.
