"Just returned from a 3 night stay at Banyan Tree with my husband and two kids, aged 10 and 9. We travel a lot and I can definitely say this is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! We absolutely loved it from the second we arrived on the Island. We had booked here as a relaxing few days following a week in Singapore and it was the perfect choice! Our 2 bedroom, ocean view villa with pool was stunning. Took our breath away as soon as we walked in. The whole resort is spotless and the staff are all wonderful, can’t do enough to help you. There's a small kitchen with a fridge and sink. You can’t cook there but we had asked for a microwave as my husband likes to make porridge in the morning which helpfully, was there when we arrived. The buffet breakfast is good, with lots of options. There’s several restaurant choices for eating and all were excellent. With kids, we loved the Xana beach bar which we didn’t need to book. Cocktails were great there too. The pools are lovely, the beach is breathtaking. We also tried the jet skiing which was good fun. Evenings are chilled, there’s a DJ at the beach bar who will do a request if you ask nicely. I would 100% recommend and if I’m ever back in that part of the world would definitely go back. "

"We wanted to pop over the national park but was told that we needed to especially book for this and they don't accept walk-ins. We didn't manage to try the spa as it was full when we were free."

"Wifi was not stable and signal kept dropping. Frustrating and took time to reply to my emails. Room was quite dated and please do not believe the pictures on the website. The toilet tiles were stained and heavy black build up between the grouting. I choose a non smoking room, but clearly there were other rooms smoking on the same floor. Better hotel rooms in the city at that price point. "
