Its an outdated hotel but you will be comfortable based on your needs. Had ac and hot water, wifi gave some trouble, but i would call for assistance and they aided as best possible. Having a Tv was of no use since none of the cable channels were in English. Its central, good for walking to anything u could need, food, grocery options, beach and ideal for some tour pickups. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Great place, exactly what I needed for a quick stay in Rio budget wise. Wifi is a bit unstable and the elevator slow/busy which would be the only negative. Would definetaly stay again

Economic stay at Copacabana

Closet and bedside tables had quite a lot of sawdust-like remainings of some animals and spider nets i.e. they weren’t cleaned for ages. Wifi was poor as well as ventilation: air was so wet that towel didn’t never get dry. Staff were nice and helpful and understood English. Easy access to the beach.

There was just about no wifi in the room. I heard other people complaining too so it wasn't just my room. There was a charge to use the room safe. Unbelievable! I have stayed in 100 hotels and this is the first time that this has happened.

The property was conveniently located next-door to a parking structure. The daily parking fee was reduced because we were staying at the hotel. There was a complimentary breakfast as well. The staff at the hotel were very nice and welcoming. My issue was with the room itself. The room was not maintained very well. The shower door does not close so water was all over the bathroom floor. There was mold in the shower, the bathroom mirror and in the bedroom. The pictures hanging over the beds also had mold under the glass in the frame. The air conditioning vent was dirty. The mini fridge was very dirty. The window opens all the way even though you are 12 floors up. It is not safe for children.

Muito barulhento

Nas 3 noites que ficamos houve barulho excessivo nos corredores durante todo o dia, mas especialmente nas primeiras horas da manhã. Não somente de outros hóspedes, mas também do staff com rádios comunicadores altíssimos e conversas que mais pareciam brigas pelo tom das vozes. Não tive uma boa noite de sono sequer.

Estadia boa e próxima de várias coisas

A estadia no geral foi boa. Quartos confortáveis, café da manhã bom, excelente localização, com conveniências, bares, restaurantes, praia próximos. O atendimento também foi bom. Eles guardam sua mala se precisar chegar antes do checkin ou se precisar, após o checkout. 2 pontos a melhorar: o elevador é bastante antigo e demora bastante. Ar condicionado poderia gelar um pouco mais.

No geral é um bom hotel, bem localizado, funcionários super atenciosos e educados. A única coisa que não gostei foi do banheiro, pois no Box não havia prateleiras para que colocássemos nossos objetos na hora do banho como sabonete, shampoo e etc… Tirando isso foi ótimo.
