Terrible experience. The hotel didn’t have the services listed to the hotel description. Expedia was not able to even contact the hotel. I lost time, money, and had a very bad experience at the hotel. I am leaving Expedia too. They were not able to resolve my issues.

No provision for early arrivals. After traveling 13 hours by plane was asked to wait 6 hours for a room. they wanted $10 per bag to hold them until check-in. The only restroom available was up steep stairs(I am unable to walk up to it.) I paid $70 to get into the room early. The lobby was full of others waiting for check-in. There were no healthy options for the daily breakfast. They made a mistake about my end date causing me to pack and when they discovered I had another day, they offered another room (which I declined.)

É a segunda vez em que me hospedo no hotel e não tenho nenhuma reclamação, pois a estadia foi excelente. Optei pelo preço baixo, comparado com Copacabana e Ipanema. Roupa de cama e banho limpas, chuveiro e ar condicionado funcionando e bom café da manhã. Porém ressalto que é um hotel simples, antigo, necessita de melhorias e modernizada de modo geral. Nota-se diversos itens a serem consertados, como piso de taco antigo, torneiras soltas, metais enferrujados, sujeira nas paredes, elevador com defeitos aparentes, internet lentíssima, mas nenhum desses atrapalhou minha estadia. Um pouco barulhento por ser central mas a localização é excelente, ao lado do metrô e do VLT. Quando voltar ao Rio, o Itajubá continuará sendo uma das opções. O proprietário deveria reformar e modernizar os quartos aos poucos, um andar por mês por exemplo. Poderia cobrar o dobro do valor, que valeria a pena para ele e para os clientes.
