The hotel was centrally located with walking distance to Copacabana beach, shopping and restaurants. The room was very small and the bathroom was very cramped. The hotel had very basic amenities and seemed like a 3 star hotel. Breakfast area was nice, overlooking the beach, but breakfast options were very limited.

The staff at the Ritz Copacabana were attentive and excellent. The property itself was quiet, which I loved, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend if you want a cozy spot along Copacabana Beach- close to the excitement without the noise and congestion of the beach.

Staff were helpful and approachable. Arrived very tired and had a long wait until 2pm check in, we needed to sleep however there was drilling from the building attached which prevented us from catching up on sleep. The receptionist knew we wanted to sleep so why place us next to a building site!!!! Breakfast was very nice. Only complaint would be there was no cold milk for the cereal. Room was very small so lived out of the suitcase. We chose to open the window and close the blackout blind to not only save using the air on whilst out but to keep the room cool. When we got back EVERY day the cleaner would close the windows and open the blackout blinds so our room was stuffy and boiling upon our return. The hotel is ideally situated for all the city amenities and staff are very approachable.

The unbeatable location, a mere block from Copacabana beach, was a major highlight of my stay. Adding to the positive experience was the pleasant surprise of an upgrade to a room offering a partial view of the beach. The staff were also incredibly helpful and friendly.

I recently stayed at the Ritz Copacabana for 5 nights. The location was very convenient. It was easy access to the beach, restaurants and ubers. The hotel itself was very dirty. The towels were dirty The floor was dirty and turned my feet black. The shower water had very low pressure The hot water didn't work well Very pretty & cozy rooftoop & bar The property was nice, it just needs better upkeep.

Really lovely hotel right by the beach. The staff are really friendly and helped us with restaurant recommendations, taxis etc. There are also lots of restaurants nearby and we felt very safe there. the breakfast buffet was also great!

We were looking for a Boutique Hotel near the beach and were very happy with the option found. Great location, close to the beach, restaurants, bars and 24 hour shops. Our room even had a partial view of the beach. Great value for money.

We stayed here twice and both stays were great. Rooms are comfortable and clean, huge beds, great area, excellent service 👌 We also stayed in a nearby seemingly similar hotel, but Ritz was much better. I'd definitely book here again next time!

We got greeted by the loveliest lady at the front desk, she was very helpful and looked after us. Our bedroom had a nice sea view and it was spacious and very modern. It was close to a lot of restaurants, bars etc

Good location for Rio short visit.

This location is very good. Walk a few minutes to the main beach that stretches 2 miles one way. It's safe to walk during the day and at night. There are lots of restaurants around. The wifi is also fast enough for work. Breakfast could be improved. They serve the same thing almost every morning.

The hotel is very close to Copacabana beach, just a block away. This is most convenient to enjoy the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall the breakfast buffet is also very nice. On the minus side, there is too much street noise in the night. Though I'm unsure how this problem can be solved.

We loved staying at the Ritz Copacabana for 8 days during Christmas break, it’s the best location to get to all attractions and felt really safe at all times of the day and night. The staff at Ritz are incredible and took personal care of our family, they helped with all our chaotic situations like lost luggage, holding suitcases on the day of leaving etc. Special thank you to Victor, he is awesome!!!!
