"I cannot express how special this resort is. Small, intimate, and unique. The entire staff helped me celebrate my birthday..special drinks, food and a beautiful piece of cake with a sparkler on top, Best birthday ever. I was upgraded to an amazing ocean front room. The food was great, the pool was wonderful. The beach is maintained and clean with lots of chairs and hammocks. I've found my vacation spot and will definitely be back."

Occidental at Xcaret Destination - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"We had an incredible stay! The resort was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was delicious, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy. The flamingos and parrots were great. The monkeys put on a show everytime coming out. They don't bother you, so no need in being scared. Everyone worked hard to make sure guests had a great experience, and it truly showed. We made unforgettable memories and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun vacation! 🌴☀️"

"We stayed 8 nights. Rooms were beautiful and service was amazing. We did tip them out on our first night.. may have increased their customer service(cleaning and towels). We had one run in with the Front desk night manager.. issues with our upgrade..but we did not let it shadow our vaca. ALL the staff were extremely friendly and kind! Especially Angie, Quecha(possibly spelled wrong) and Alex at the buffet! And the omelet makers were also amazing! Pool bar attendants were great!! We had issues making reservations for dinner every night.. but were able to squeeze in with a little help from the waiters. And last but not least.. the Happiness Makers Team.. always smiling and involved with activities!!"

"Todo muy bien, algo que no me gusto es que la persona de la limpieza no respetaba el letrero de no molestar, lo puse y en dos ovaciones llego y toco y entró, se supone que si uno pone el letrero de no molestar es para que no te molesten y ella entraba a la habitación,"

"Overall, a great resort, and we really enjoyed our stay! Just wanted to share a word of caution regarding the main pool, especially for families with babies or toddlers. Be sure to check the pool depth before entering through the middle stairs. My wife, who is about 5’5”, entered the pool through the middle stairs while holding our toddler, not realizing the water was approximately 5.4 feet deep. Both ended up going underwater, and thankfully, someone nearby was able to help them. We’ve stayed at several resorts, and this was probably the deepest pool we’ve encountered. The entrances on the sides of the pool are much more gradual, making them a better option for families with little ones. Again, we had a wonderful stay and aren’t sharing this as a complaint, but simply as a heads-up to other guests. What happened to us could have ended much differently, and we hope this helps other families avoid a similar situation."

Barceló Maya Colonial - All Inclusive

"Barcelo has 6 hotels on the property to accommodate all price ranges and specific needs (like the adults only hotel). The area is very large so be prepared to walk a lot! The grounds are immaculate; the rooms are very clean and well maintained. They kept the fridge stocked with water, soda, beer and nuts every day. They keep the room temps a little too cold and I could never figure out how to adjust the thermostat and maintain the temp I wanted. It was always around 19 C which is about 64 F. The food at the buffet was always fresh and hot and the specialty restaurants were fabulous! The staff is multi-lingual, except for the gals who clean the rooms. Most of them only speak Spanish. The check in process was smooth and luckily there weren't large groups checking in at the same time however; checking out was awful. They need a separate line for check-outs. I waited for over 30 minutes behind people who were checking in and we almost missed our shuttle. That would be my only complaint is the check-out process. Give yourself PLENTY of time when you're ready to leave. Also - the bartenders are very friendly and remember your preferences. We always tipped them $1 every time we went to get drinks, and they appreciate it very much! Pools are very clean and huge! Never felt crowded and there is plenty of seating both around the pools and on the beach."

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

"Our concierge Alfred was so helpful to us he helped us plan our dinners and helped us book a tour. Our waiter Dagoberto was the sweetest! He always greeted us with a smile every time we went for breakfast. Also Grean, Nairobi, Vicente, and Itzel the concierge team were amazing, they were the sweatiest treated us like family. They helped us with our reservations and were always so happy to greet us and help us. Also at the spa Carla gave us an a lovely experience with our hydrotherapy session! The massage therapists Juana and Margarita were amazing therapists . I can truly say they all made a huge difference in our stay. Thank you for such am amazing time!"

"Absolutely loved my stay at Seaside Palms. Seaside Suites was closed for renovations, so I was moved to palms. They have a wonderful team, a beautiful resort and location, and I highly recommend seeing all the shows you can!"
