Hilton Cambridge City Centre

Hilton Cambridge City Centre

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is in the centre of the city and a few minutes walk from the Cambridge Colleges and activities such as punting on the cam. The rooms were fairly basic and lacked a fridge or mini-bar. Ice dispensers in the hallways though. Good quality shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and conditioner in the bathroom. We were on the 4th (top) floor and so shower pressure wasnโ€™t the best. There was effective air conditioning in the room during a heatwave. The breakfast buffet was excellent quality with a great range of foods available and great value. We chose the hotel because they allowed our dog to stay with us. We would stay there again."

"During the stay, it was very slow to wait for the receptionist to allocate room service staff to change the double bed into a two single bed. In addition, the electric blinds in the house did not work well, and the repairs were not completed the next day. Although we were not in the room during the day. Didn't enjoy the view outside the window. The family room is still a bit small. In short, the hotel staff's service is enthusiastic and the key is that there are too few staff. Breakfast is not included in the price and the price is a bit high. No buffet. Fortunately, there are many cafes around the hotel where you can have breakfast. Excellent location and so quiet in the night.Thank you!"

"Fantastic hotel- central location on the river can. We stayed in a river view double room with balcony- very clean and classically decorated. The staff were amazing. Supplied a bathrobe so I could go for a swim and use the jacuzzi and steam room. The food and service are some of the best weโ€™ve had in a hotel, from the breakfast- set in the quaint Garden House restaurant, to the afternoon tea- all were a very high standard. This hotel has so much to offer you can easily spend a lot of time here. Would definitely return."

"The room was fine. I slept well. The shower pressure wasnโ€™t strong but it was fine. The corridors had a weird smell for having just been cleaned. I was expecting an amazing breakfast reading the other reviews but it seemed quite normal to me. The supermarket across the road is handy. You canโ€™t take a short cut to walk through the train station which added 15 minutes to my commute."
