The hotel is clean with good service. It is near city center, with easily access to Odori and JR station, either by walking 15-20 minutes, or by tram (streetcar) and subway.

I will recommend this property to my friends & family cause the convenient locations, but feel very disappointing with the morning reception staff. I have check out on 22 mar 2019 4am , and i call a cab to the nearest bus station to Chitose Airport, But unfortunately we cannot communicate with the taxi driver, even we show the locations. So i walk back inside the hotel and ask the guy receptionist for help me translate to the taxi driver pls drive us to toyoko inn susukino. After he look at me going to another hotel. He was directly show the unhappy face and use his body language and say dont know. But i m sure the receptionist understand what i mention. He just do not want to assist us to the bus stop which near to toyoko inn susukino. But lastly thanks for the taxi driver drive us to the bus stop and without charge us any price.

Swanky was in a convenient location close to all the food. Had to walk about 8 minutes to the nearest subway station. Highly Recommended!

With hindsight we should have had a bigger room / bed. Swanky the hotel wasn't but it was clean and had all necessary facilities. Breakfast was pastries and coffee / orange juice but a welcome start to the day.

The room is great for a quick - last minute stay. It was perfect for two people (we had a double bed). However, we didn't have any luggage. If you're bringing luggage with you - more than one large suitcase - this hotel room would be too small. The bed was comfortable. The hotel seems a bit dated, but the location is prime and everything met our basic needs.

Cozy hotel. Couldn't figure out how to turn on the heater. Tree next to windows had birds chirping at the wee hours of the morning. But good hotel.

clean and close to sapporo
very clean, close to sapporo (easy stroll), beds are hard but that is Japan. Pillows very ordinary take your own if your a westerner. rooms had own on suites and was affordable so if only for a couple of days pretty cool. rooms are not for hanging out in but just for sleeping basically.

The front end service was bad in Japan standard. The bed/mattresses is horrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Room is too small. There’s not enough space to open our big luggage. However, hotel staff is very nice ans they have delicious candy at the front desk. :)

Very nice hotel and cheap stay. Walk from susukino station about 15mins. Around hotel have lawson and 7 eleven convienient shop. Breakfast is bread,orange juice and coffee. Recommend for those travel have limited budget. Conclusion: very good

The location was not bad, just 5-10 min walk to the nearest Susukino station. There are a lot of restaurants, shops and adult stores in this area. The hotel room is small but both of us think its comfortable enough. Has everything you need for a short stay. The breakfast consisted of some western style bread, jam, butter, and coffee. Had no problems with the hotel staff too. It was a good stay, thank you.

The room was not very clean. There was dust at some places and we found a toothbrush in the corner of the room. The staff are friendly and check in process was quick and smooth.

No WIFI in room!
A typical business hotel in Sapporo. Located in the Sapporo's version of the Kabukicho in Tokyo. There is NO WIFI in the rooms, only in the lobby, which is also a smoking area. I was expecting a standard business hotel, which is what I got, but I was promised wifi in the room, which I didn't get.

For the price it was OK. The room was a bit dirty as there was some familiar looking "stains" on the wall next to the bed that grossed me out a bit. There is no wifi besides the lobby so unless you are packing a laptop with an eithernet port, you are out of luck for internet in your hotel room. IF you are JUST looking for a place to sleep, this place will suit you.

The hotel at all was good, but the people were smoking at the entrance which is connected to the breakfast room. Therefore we couldn't enjoy the breakfast.

I am a non smoker and when I went into the room, I noticed right away that someone has smoked in the room not too long before I went in. I had to open the window and the door to let out the smoke. The bath towel was folded neatly and was placed on a rack but the hand towel was wrinkled up and placed on the towel bar as if someone used it and just left it there, so I did not use that hand towel. I asked for a non smoking room but I think that all the rooms in this hotel is a smoking room. The room was small but decent. The bathroom was was smaller than the usual small size and gave a little difficulty in going in and out of the bathroom even though I am not a big guy. I stayed here for one night. During the check in, a male worker checked me in. He was o.k., not mean or nice, and nothing special. Next day, during the check out, there was a female worker, which I tried to hand her a room key card, but without saying any word, she just pointed to the far left direction so I thought that she wanted me to place the room key card on the front desk. As I was trying to place it on the front desk, a customer behind me pointed to the small drop box that was just to the left of the female worker, so I placed it in the box. All during this time, the female worker was not doing anything but also did not say anything to me. Also, as I was leaving, I said thank you, but she did not even look at me or say anything to me and started talking to the only male customer that was behind me.

Room is clean but small. Not too far from the main areas where people go. We discovered that if one has a JR rail pass, it is better to stay in Otaru and travel to Sapporo for visits because the trains will get you from Otaru to the heart of Sapporo and there's less walking around. That way, you get a better room for the same price and more comfortable.

Well priced hotel in Susukino
The room is clean and quiet, compact, and room price included breakfast bread service provided in the cafeteria. Free WiFi was available on the ground floor (lobby and cafeteria) with charging points. Cigarette smell lingered in the common areas but did not effect the non-smoking hotel room. Staff are friendly and welcoming but understandably a little nervous around non-native language speakers. The room and bathroom are very small as its main patronage are travelling Japanese businessman, but still good value for the price.

Swanky Hotel in Sapporo
Kind of a rundown place - nothing fancy. They allow smoking in the lobby and the room I stayed in was a smoking room. I didn't mind because I smoke but just a heads up if you don't like the smell of cigarette smoke. Close walking distance to the arcade and Nijo fish market. Susukino subway station is close by.

The room was described for 2, but was really small, but the really unpleasant thing was actually the strong cigarette smell in the room, and in the bed. In the morning my hair was smelling like cigarette even though I'm a non-smoker. No free TV andno wifi, you have to pay to get a wire for the Internet... the price was way too high given these conditions.
