It's slightly on the older side, however the owner is very attentive and will fix issues on the spot if notified. "For my first stay in Otaru, I wanted a place where I can feel the Japanese vibe in ny accommodation, and this place was perfect for that. It was expactly what I would expect if I would visit a friend's house in Japan. The dadami was interesting and once I enter the premise, I was immediately immersed in local Japanese vibe. The place was very clean and cozy and very close to the main attractions in Otaru. Everything was within walking distances. Highly recommended if you want a special...

"Front desk staff are very helpful! The only issue is about the water machine, which should not be limited to certain hours only, as bottled water is not provided in the room and humans need water around the clock."
