Very nice and quiet hotel, but far from activities
We were very pleased with our 2 days stay at this hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful as we just arrived. They helped us with a lot of things. The hotel itself is beautifully finished and surrounded by trees and plants. Charming. On the other hand, we've booked last minute...and realized after we arrived that it's located far from city center and temples (Angkor Wat per example is at 20-25 min ride). So you need to take a tuk-tuk each time you want to do something. And food / drink are very pricy (for Cambodia) at this hotel. So tuk tuk again. But overall, if you're ok with distance and pricy food, very nice place to stay and relax !

Beautiful, peaceful hotel.
All in all, this is an outstanding and very comfortable hotel. The beauty of the carved wood in the rooms, the superb, courteous service, and the peace and quietness of my stay were particular highlights. The entrance is lovely and exotic, and the pool is beautiful. The gym, though small, was adequate for me with its two good treadmills, a bike, and free weights. The wifi worked well. It is an altogether outstanding "bang for your buck." The location is just a bit outside of the main part of Siem Reap, so you cannot walk to get there, but there are always tuk tuks available to take you where you desire to go promptly. Visiting the main Angkor temples was no issue whatsoever either - it took about 15 minutes to arrive via tuk tuk. My only complaint is that the hotel food was, quite frankly, very bad. I ordered room service the first night and found the shrimp spring rolls not fresh and literally inedible (and I am not picky), and the chicken I ordered was very mediocre. Breakfast was also totally lackluster. If they improved the food, this hotel would merit 5 stars in my opinion. I still recommend the hotel, my only caveat being to make sure you plan to either buy some food in town to keep in the room and/or eat out all the time to avoid eating at the hotel.

Excellent hotel, very helpful and friendly staff
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at La Tradition d'Angkor Boutique Resort. The hotel is a bit out of the hustle and bustle of the main strip in Siem Reap, so is nice and quiet. The hotel has lovely grounds including a sizeable restaurant, lovely swimming pool and bar, as well as a gym and massage facilities. The staff were all extremely attentive, polite and helpful. The room was great, very sizeable with a large comfy bed, decent air-con and a nice balcony.

Top class hotel with top facilities
This hotel suits the name traditional boutique hotel, floor, wall doors, stairs, cupboard and bed all in varnished wood, giving a classy (palace like) look to the rooms. Hotel has got a beautiful front yard with lots of area for kids to play around. Rooms were spacious and clean No airport pick up and drop off organised, even though the booking states it includes airport pick up and drop off. i was calling them from airport but no answer, then took a taxi to the hotel, when questioned why no airport transfer was not organised answer was sorry we missed you and then when asked why no one picked the phone answer was sorry phone is not working.

Beautiful Hotel but Away from the city.
It was a very good hotel, super nice installations, service was very good, employees has a limited English but you can still talk to them. Only bad thing about this hotel is that is away from the city so Tuk Tuk might want to rip you off, a fair price to pay is 4 USD

Staff courteous, but have difficulty answering your needs. No cable TV from day one. Always, tomorrow. Suspect that subscription not paid. Clean, dated a little, generous sized rooms, breakfast modest but included in a very competitive price. Pool towels hit and miss. Cocktail drinks require a committee meeting, sometimes unavailable. Tuk tuk into town always fun.

Quiet boutique resort
Though it's off main road, it's only 15-minute ride from airport and about the same time to town. Free shuttle to town which is convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful.

A beautiful resort, with all needed facilities. Nice and friendly staff. Its close to airport but a little drive to city center. But taxis and many tuk tuks to bring youand hotel arranges a few free transfers every day.

It was a lovely resort with excellent staff. The service was excellent. the condition of the hotel was great. The main cons were a lack of hot water in the shower which got rather annoying day after day, and the location. 3 kms out of town did not seem very far when we booked, but it did get very trying

Shame about the shower
A fantastic place to spend a few days. The only real niggle wa sthe shower and its inability to maintain a stead flow of warm water. It varied between scalding hot and cold without touching the mixer. The staff were fabulous and it was such a shame that they had very few guests while I was there. Being a little bit out of town, was offset by the lovely gardens and great swimming pool.

Unexpected tranquility
A perfect boutique hotel with 25 rooms where my wife and I were virtually the only guests for a week. We never had to share the swimming pool or breakfast dining room. It does not have a tennis court as advertised but has a table tennis table with bats but all the balls were lost. After a days excursion around the Angkor Wat ruins then the following days at the hotel was relaxing and quiet. We would gladly return. We would bring our own Ping Pong balls.

The hotel is tucked away from the main hotel strip so its a bit quieter if that is what you want. We were a bit concerned when we walked into the lobby, which is almost non-existent. The staff were very friendly and nice, giving us a full list of options for the next three days. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our family room which turned out to be two spacious rooms connected with a huge door. Both had great bathrooms with brand new fittings and lovely towels. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable with super bedding. What was most wonderful was the staff who were amazing. The Manager went out of his way to make our stay comfortable, at times walking with us to the front gate to make sure our tuk-tuk driver was was at hand and giving him instructions on where to take us etc. We have never met a manager who is more attuned to the needs of his guests. The front office staff, cleaners and drivers were equally accommodating. Since our flight out was at night, the manager offered us a free late check out and when we arrived at his lobby at 4 pm he even asked us to go back and stay in the room until our time of departure. Even the staff didn't seem to mind that we were re-using the room they had already cleaned up. This was truly amazing. We cannot recommend this hotel more and hope those who like a small hotel with amazing staff will chose this for their next stay in Siem Reap.

First class rooms in very quiet location, yet only 10mins from pub street by Tuktuk Huge rooms - excelent for children since plenty of space to play in rooms and garden Good pool, - heavy on the chlorine Breafast - large and varied Small and exclusive - only 16 suites Only downside we saw was no lift, but top floor is only 3 stories and if you don't want to climb take a ground floor room Great staff We would stay again Hire a daily tuktuk - $15 - and you can eat out in pub street whenever you want

Nice laid back hotel away from city.
Good hotel overall. Our room had no hot water and the hotel staff did not manage to fix it. The hotel offered to change rooms but we were too tired to bother. English communication is a big problem. Tuk Tuk to city, airport and Angkor is easy ride but if it is wet then I would stay in the city as the road to the hotel gets really flooded and we had to wade through knee deep water. For Sauna you have to go to their sister hotel which is too inconvenient.

Amazing resprt, big garden with pool
I would definitely recomend staying in this resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful even if only few of them speak english. The room was very clean and had a good size bed. Luxury towel and shower. They got big choice of local, american or continental breakfast. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and the food was really tasty and presented in a very good way. They provide transfer to the airpost which is 15min away by car. The receptionist was very kind providing a recomended itinerary to the Angkor temple and he also arranged tuk tuk for us with breakfast box for the sunrise on Angkor wat temple. We tried the laundry service, it was really efficient and perfectly ironed and packed. The only downside is that at the check out we couldn't pay by card altought it is stated that you can.

Relaxing stay in Siem Reap
The hotel is located outside the main hub of Siem Reap but is a five minute tuk tuk ride into the center. The slight distance from the main tourist drag made for a relaxing stay after a day spent visiting the ruins. The pool was lovely and hotel staff attentive. The hotel tuk tuk drivers offered excellent rates and were pleasant and professional. While we had a limited time in Siem Reap, the hotel allowed us to make the most of it.

A lovely hotel on the fringe of Siem Reap
This is a lovely hotel, immaculately clean and with very enthusiastic service. The pool is lovely, the breakfasts fine. Staff are desperate to please. The only downer is location, which at a 10 minute tuk tuk ride from the centre of Siem Reap is not ideal, especially as the hotel's food is expensive and - we visitied in low season - prepared at a nearby sibling resort. Ideal for families!

Second time staying here with our two young boys. Staff lovely, rooms are amazing, breakfast is extravagant & wonderful, pool is perfect, gardens manicured. You will find it hard to leave here. A 5 star hotel disguised with the bargain price tag.

Superb!
This hotel is fabulous, its like any 5 star I've ever stayed in. The rooms are large, extremely clean, lovely bathroom, huge open spaces. We have a 1yr old and a 3 yr old. The grounds are huge and maintained to roam in & the pool is great for cooling off. Breakfast is generous & delicious, it even includes a whole basket of freshly baked pastries served on the terrace outside your room every day. A bargain, the only negative is its not within walking distance of 'pub street'. Perfect for us as it was quiet though! Don't hesitate to book here!

This hotel was about 15 mins away from the heart of Siem Reap city. It was quiet, the service was excellent as the people who worked there gave us their utmost attention an respect. I was very impressed. As there were not many guests, we had the pool all to ourselves until some other checked in. I love it here and would reccomend ti to anyone for any purpose.

Quiet stylish hotel with fabulous staff
I recently returned from Siem Reap where I was fortunate enough to have stayed at La Tradition. This is an absolutely delightful hotel with the most courteous and attentive staff imaginable. My room was spacious and stylish with a lovely bathroom and a balcony surrounded by trees where I sat first thing each day with a cup of tea listening to the birds. Nothing could have been further removed from my stressful life as a teacher in UK. After a substantial breakfast I went touring most mornings then returned to the hotel to relax by the fabulous pool or lie in one of the garden hammocks with my kindle. I did volunteer teaching at a pagoda some afternoons, but was equally happy chatting with the staff at the hotel who are all keen to practise their English! I sometimes ate at the hotel and would particularly recommend the fish amok and chicken satay. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the house wine was from Chile and very palatable. I was staying over Khmer New Year and because the hotel was fairly full the manager upgraded me to a spacious suite in the villa. Overall I loved the kindness and hospitality of this hotel and felt really sad on the morning I left....La Tradition was a unique experience.

What a gem! 5* hotel for 2* price.
This hotel is a gem - it looks like a palace and I was treated accordingly. Although most staff grappled with their English, I can't speak a word of Cambodian, we always understood each other in the end (with a laugh)! It is in a road off the main road through Siem Reap (which also has most of the hotels on it). Therefore this hotel was blissfully quiet and felt very safe, while still being centrally located.

Pleasant buildings , wellkept and attractive with a great swimming pool- could have done with more concierge advice- nil-and more transportto the town,BUT we had abad experience when it took over 3 hours to order and have a meal by the swimming pool- service was dreadful and we kept being told things were off the menu after long delays. It ended up with the only thing left on the sweet menu having to be brought from another hotel 45 mins later . no apologies but the food and bev. manager gave us a glass of wine free over 1 hour before our meal arrived. we waited again for 45 mins for a bill - the staff were useless,On our departure the so called food Manager who seemed to act as hotel manager asked to see us and accused us of not paying for another glass of wine which had NOt been ordered and was not very polite or apologetic but went on to ask us to pay for a very small bottle of water. This Man although pleasant at the start is dong this hotel a great disservice and his staff are badly trained with a very confused understanding of English. Never have we been treated so insultingly in a hotel Steps need taking for retraining and how to behavewith customers if this lovely building and hotel is to survive.

a little oasis in town
if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay, this is for you. it feels like a resort in the forest, yet fairly close to everything. unlike the other big hotels on the strip, there are not too many rooms in this hotel, so the place is quiet and not overrun by tour groups. the breakfast buffet was great and staff treated us like gold. about a 3$ tuk tuk ride to town and close to Angkor Wat. great price and value for money, very clean, would recommend this place to anyone.

静かなホテル
従業員の方々の人の好さは、十分に伝わってきたのですが、皆さん接客に不慣れな感じがして荷物の取り扱いの配慮がスマートではなかったです。ホテルのゲート内に入ってから長い距離を自分たちで 重い荷物を運ぶ時もあって驚きました。レストランスペースがとても暗くてメニューを見るのにとても苦労しました。食事に関しては良いイメージはありません。ただ従業員の方達の悪気のないお人好し感に 救われたホテルでした。３日間滞在しましたがゆっくりくつろぐ事は出来ました。

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Service ist sehr freundlich und wirklich bemüht, auch wenn man mal etwas warten muss. Sehr freundlich. Früher war es sicherlich ein sehr schönes Luxushotel, aber die Anlage wird nicht sehr gepflegt, leider. Wir haben dort nur eine Nacht verbracht, da wir am nächsten Morgen früh zum Flughafen mussten. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Flughafenshuttle- Service an.

2LDKのVillaに宿泊、コストパフォーマンスがすごくよかったです
年末にExpediaの70％オフキャンペーンで、2LDKのVillaに両親と私と娘9歳で3泊しました。コストパフォーマンスがよかったと感じたのは以下7点。 1, 空港からの往復送迎付き。時間など事前にこちらからホテルにメールしました。 2, たまたまかもしれないけど、ホテルで予約したトゥクトゥクの方がとてもよかった！結局残り二日間もお願いしました。アンコールワットを回るのが基本20ドルで、サンセットとサンライズが5ドルづつ追加です。最終日、市内を回りたいのだけどいくら？といったら15ドルとのこと。チップ含めて20ドル渡したら、おつりを渡してくれようとして、びっくりしました。 3, Wifi無料。ただ、パスワード必要なはずがそのまま接続できてしまい、若干大丈夫？とは思いました。が接続はよく不自由はなかったです。 4, Villaは2LDKでとても広い。両親とも適度な距離で休め、リラックスできました。 5, 朝食付き（ですが、私たちには食が進まなかったです。。） 6, 中心地から4kmほど離れていますが、かえって静かで夜は虫と鳥の声だけしか聞こえず、リラックスできました。市内までも無料で送迎してくれるそうですので、夜ずっと出歩きたい人以外はいいと思います。 7, 朝食は美味しくないが、ディナーは同じレストランなのに美味しくてリーズナブル。 逆に、ちょっとだけ気になったのは以下5点でした。 1, Expediaの説明にはセルフランドリーサービスとありましたが、なかったです。通常のランドリーサービスはありますが、下着一枚1ドルと安くはありません。洗面台で自分で洗って干すと1日たたずに乾く気候でしたので、結局利用しませんでした。 2, スタッフの方々はみなさんよい方なのですが、やると言ったことお願いしたことが全部返ってこないことが何度かありました。たとえば、チェックインの際に金庫の鍵がついていなく、部屋に案内してくれた人が持ってくると言っていましたが結局持ってこなかった、など。 3, 飲み物についてきたストローが半分以上の確率で穴が開いていて吸えない。。 4, 私は大丈夫でしたが、娘は原因不明ですがポツポツが15個ほど。。虫刺されなのかどなたかが書いていたプールなのかリネンなのかは不明です。ホテルが理由とも限らないのでわからないですが。 5, これもどこのホテルでもあるかもしれませんが、トカゲとカエルとコウロギは身近な存在です。。

スタッフの対応がとっても良いホテルでした。ロケーションはダウンタウンから少し離れてますが、無料のシャトルバス(時間が決まっている)が運行されるし、トゥクトゥクを手配してくれるので、全く問題ありません。 夕食に行きたいレストランを伝えると予約をしてくれ、移動手段を手配してくれました。 部屋は広く、キレイに掃除が行き届いてました。

市街地から少し離れますが、静かな落ち着いたホテルです。
立地は空港の近くにあるために、市街地からは２ｋｍほど離れています。 そのために買い物のために歩いて市街地にはいけません。 代わりに宿泊客は少なく、落ち着いた環境でゆったりとした時間を過ごしたい方にはお勧めです。 スタッフは全体的に親切な方が多いです、人懐っこい方が多い印象でした。

Schönes Hotel mit mangelhafter Bewirtschaftung
Keine Abholung vom Flughafen obwohl mehrfach bestätigt; falsches Zimmer; Wasser im Pool abgestanden; kein Management vor Ort; Hotel war nahezu leer; versprochener Zimmerwechsel wurde "vergessen", keine Reklamationsbearbeitung Management kam erst nach massiven Drohung mit Touristenpolizei und ermöglichte den Wechsel in ein anderes Hotel

スタッフが親切で誠意を持って対応いただきました
プラスアルファの対応がありがたかった。一般的なことは十分に対応いただきましたので感謝感謝ですが、プラスアルファの対応は宿泊最終日です。チェックアウトは12時、帰りの飛行機は23：25分でしたのでかなりの時間を観光に費やすことが出来たのですがさすがに汗とホコリでどろどろ。これで飛行機に乗って帰るのは過酷なので有料でもいいのでホテルに帰ってシャワーを浴びようと思い、ホテルに行ってお願いすると宿泊していた部屋が未だ空いていると理由で結局新品になっている部屋を利用させていただきシャワーも浴びさせてもらい帰国することが出来ました。条件がたまたま合ったのだと思いますが笑顔で対応いただきおまけに無料だったので本当にありがたかったです。次回からは1日多く予約して利用したいと思います。でないと帰国日はかなり過酷です。
