"This was one of the best hotels that we ever stayed in. Clean and comfortable. Bed had 4 pillows, 2 overstuffed for my husband & 2 with less stuffing for me. Had frig & microwave, desk and 1 chair. Lobby had 24 hrs assorted coffee machine, tea & flavored water machine. For purchase there was a cooler with a variety of drinks, another cooler with wine, etc. Shelves with a good variety of snacks and other food that just needed hot water. Plus a freezer of ice cream and sandwiches and meals to cook in the microwave. After we arrived at the hotel we didn't feel like going out so we had dinner and desert at the hotel. Only downside was just 1 chair and the shower was a little slippery. We would definitely stay there again."

"If you enjoy historic hotels and their history, don’t miss this one. The Peacock Dining room was excellent for its service, and the food was very good, both breakfast and dinner. The Glass bar has live music nightly. Staff throughout the inn was top notch."

"This was our second trip to this hotel. It’s a historic hotel and is currently under renovation. That being said, none of the renovations were an obstacle to our stay. We were put in an updated room and they are doing an excellent job!!! Comfortable and classy without changing the vibe of the old hotel. The location can’t be beat, right on Whiskey Row. The best thing about this hotel is the staff - from the front desk to the bartender to housekeeping - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next visit. "
