"We had a great stay. The staff were so kind and accommodating with our late arrival- communicating often. The included breakfast every morning had a lovely spread and coffee was made to order. Our room was spacious with plenty of drawers and closet space to unpack. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s right in the middle of it all, but on a quieter side street so we got to sleep with the window open. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when in Sorrento and hopefully will...

"My second time at this beautiful hotel. Perfect location, gorgeous clean rooms, wonderful staff. The only thing that I was disappointed about on this trip was that the private elevator to the beach was down for repairs and we had to walk down the street and pay for the public elevator. Other than that it was perfect and this will be temporary. You cannot ask for a better location in Sorrento - highly recommend. "

"This property was lovely! The shuttle was extremely convenient and saved us so much money on cabs into town. It’s about a 10 minute ride into downtown Sorrento. Breakfast was amazing and the view was INCREDIBLE. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a drink. Only comments to note would be that the pool and jacuzzi close at 7pm which is quite early when the sun sets around 9pm. Also, the restaurant offerings were quite fancy and expensive so we couldn’t have a casual dinner at the hotel for our more low key days. Service was great and we enjoyed reserving time in the small gym available. "

"Our recent one-night stay at La Vue D’Or Hotel in Sorrento was nothing short of exceptional. We were fortunate to have a room with a stunning view of Mount Vesuvius, which truly enhanced our experience. The serene, quiet location of the hotel offered breathtaking vistas that made our stay even more memorable. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcomed, showcasing a level of hospitality that went above and beyond. A special mention must be given to their thoughtful assistance in arranging for a forgotten pack of clothes to be sent back to our home in the USA—they handled this with remarkable efficiency and care. In summary, La Vue D’Or combines amazing views, a peaceful setting, and outstanding service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento."

"Wonderful location, staff, and amenities. The views are spectacular and the grounds are gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There were no communication issues and everyone was multilingual. We would certainly stay again. The food was excellent with significant portions. We also had options to dine by the water or above overlooking the water and the boats. The sunset at dinner was magnificent. I would suggest that the hotel give guests a way to express their appreciation via tips on the actual food and beverage bills. I tried to add that on to several bills only to later learn they could not do that. It made tipping the staff for their extraordinary service difficult as I don’t always have cash on hand while on vacation. "
