I was given the penthouse upon check-in. The view of absolutely fabulous. The check-in process was smooth and I was given the room early. The suite is very clean and complete, pleasantly surprised to find a washer and dryer within the room.

Clean and very good condition room in a nice location (and neighbourhood) along Mermaid Beach, with 5 min walk to a cluster of cafe and restaurants. The room was a little tight for my side and 2 kids (1 single 1 double bed) but it was still comfortable and an affordable option for our Gold Coast vacation. Ample parking as there are only limited number of room in this boutique motel. 30min drive to theme parks and a stone's throw to KFC (drive in) and Domino's Pizza for easy meals. Staff were...

The rooms and hotel is clean. The hotel is attached to the Mantra Sharks Club which has the gym guests use, breakfast, lounge, restaurant, pub and pokies (jackpot machines). There is no swimming pool and the staff can be offish and not helpful. Front office does not allow the use of their phone to make local calls; was asked to call from our room for local calls as its charged. However, front office cannot tell us the charge as they do not know it as well. Not acceptable as a Accor property.
