"We used the Pickled Parson as a home base for a month while visiting family. The room we had for that duration of a stay was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean and made up daily. The staff were all amazing and really made us feel at home. A very relaxed atmosphere with great breakfast options. The bar was a great option to wind down at the end of the day with a night cap. "We stayed in room 102 (cosy room) a lovely little room over looking the gardens. The room was clean and spacious with a walk in shower. We had breakfast which was delicious , served by Rachel the hotel manager, she was bubbly and very approachable giving plenty of suggestions for our trip. The hotel is normally busy but turned out we were the only guest for the evening which made for a peaceful stay (no complaints here) "
