"What I loved was the proximity to the beach and that the architectural design reflects St. Augustine and its Spanish heritage. The grounds were attractive and well-manicured. The day staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, while the night staff was professional in a quiet way. We liked the free availability of the 2-item small and light plus juice breakfast- the freshly baked blueberry scone was tasty! There are a couple of washers/dryers for a fee, very helpful when you are driving for days. The room had a slight odor covered over with bleach, perhaps from something a previous guest put in a microwave. The showerhead is older and the tub felt weirdly plastic. However, all in all, we loved the place and would return again if down in this area!"
