"Staff in the restaurant/spa bar/spa were really helpful and pleasant. The indoor pool was great. Sadly we didn't get to use the outdoor pool as it rained but it did look very nice. View from our room was lovely too. We booked breakfast on one day but found it too much after dinner the previous night. We ate at taste of Cornwall one night. The food was very good but the room was very dark and the music stopped a couple of times and nobody around to turn it back on, so lacked a nice ambience."

As a solo traveller I particularly appreciated the ways in which they encouraged all of us to socialise in the bar/lounge areas. Views are wonderful. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful too. I would definitely return if in the area."

"The room and ensuite were a good size. Bed extremely comfortable. Plenty of room for hanging clothes and draws for storing. Breakfast was prepared and cooked to your request as well as cold choices. Tea and coffee facilities in the room as well as during breakfast. No problem with parking."
