"Querky property, doesn't look like a hotel/motel. Staff very good and accommodating. Ideal for matchday with the lads, wouldn't take the wife. Beds we had were not the best but understand the need for waterproof covers. These make a lot of noise when moving in bed. would stay again if stuck for accommodation. Free secure parking is a bonus."

"Ideal location for train travellers and those seeing a show at the Liverpool Empire Theatre. You are literally sandwiched inbetween. Loved the quirky decor and industrial style design. I had a room with a lovely double bed. Not much of a view on the second floor for me but it didn’t matter as I was surrounded by Liverpool City Centre. Slept very well and was actually nice and quiet. Shower was all good and loved the nice sized mugs to make a good cup of tea. I also ate at the restaurant in the evening and had a nice seafood linguine. Staff were very attentive. The breakfast was really nice. Can’t fault it. I know there’s probably cheaper places but I would highly recommend this place! "
"Just around the corner from Lime Street station, the Liner Hotel is lovely and quiet. The restaurant offers a variety of meals, and the Castaway Lounge is open in the evenings. Excellent location for popping on tours (at the World Museum, 3-5 minute walk) or walking through town to the Ferry or the Cavern Club, as well as history sites. "This place is exceptional. It has a rich history, having been home to one of the first members of The Beatles and a great friend of John Lennon (Stuart Sutcliff). The place has decorations and memorabilia from the band's beginnings, making it a great place. We had a hotel room on the top floor with vaulted ceilings, which made our stay quite cozy. Next door is Sefton Park, a beautiful place to walk. The hotel is also very close to Lark Lane, a street full of very good restaurants and bars, with very decent prices, exceptional food, and a very youthful vibe. In addition to the hotel's location, we had the opportunity early on the second day to walk to Penny Lane, passing through a very beautiful wooded area. The walk is highly recommended. The breakfast is five-star, with a variety of a la carte options. We ordered the full English both days we were there... the treatment of the desk staff and breakfast was excellent with that warmth that the people of Liverpool have... it is definitely a charming place to which we plan to return. Thank you for making our stay warm and pleasant."
