"Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room at the back, so no noise from the A66. Room very clean, well decorated , great shower, comfortable bed. Bar and restaurant very good We ate an evening meal, which was excellent. Continental breakfast was included, delivered to the room in a small hamper ,after completing a form the night before. Plenty of free parking. Would stay again."

"Nice room, albeit quite small, overlooking the main square. The breakfast was very good and all the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Parking is on the square outside the property, come early on a Saturday as the square gets very busy."

"We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the propertyโnot to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun. Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castleโworth the visit. We enjoyed the breakfastsโnice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was good, as well. We had dinner there on three nights of our stayโwe were very happy with everything we ordered. Our room was clean, and a very nice size. The bed was comfortable. The bar had a nice selection of beer, cocktails, and wine. It was a nice place to meet other people during our stay. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"It was an old building , with character. I was on 2nd floor, quite a way to carry my suitcase, lovely room with nice outlook but the floor was uneven and windows difficult to open due to the age of the building."

"We stayed in the Lister Farmhouse, which was delightful. The room was spacious, well designed with the amenities you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning. Breakfast was equally lovely, with Tom on-hand to provide you with great service and great food. We also had dinner at the Lister Arms on both the nights we stayed, with each meal exceptional. I would recommend you book ahead as every table was taken each night, and given the quality of the food, itโs not hard to see why."
