"I like the location close to a beautiful lake and the bus. The hotel provided us with free ticket passes to use the bus. I didn’t like the new remodel they’re doing to an old historic hotel. They are enlarging the bathrooms which make the bedrooms smaller. The hotel will look much better if they upgrade like for like. The breakfast was not good, same menu every morning."

"Checking went well and the process for parking your car at a nearby parkade was confirmed ( and there is a discount through the hotel ) The room was good , only issue for us was they were warm nights so with no A/C we had the windows open and there was a lot of external noise , especially on the Saturday night , with cars racing noisily down a nearby street. Just something to be aware of, obviously beyond the hotels control . The staff were very helpful and pleasant and while there are no bar fridges in the rooms, they did store my items in the restaurant fridge for me as requested ."

"We really enjoyed the hotel a lot! The staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful! The room we had was smashed but the bed was comfortable and having the terrace was lovely. Having the coffee machine accessible was great! Breakfast buffet is limited but nice choices. And the location is ideal with the bus right outside the door."
