Check in staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cute children’s pack waiting on the bed. Although we didn’t have dinner reservations, we were able to eat in the bar area. Great breakfast with again, very friendly staff. Cleaners were lovely too. Thanks

This is a fabulous country hotel set in lovely grounds in a very peaceful setting, not too far away from major routes. It has a opulent atmosphere with loads of character. The room I stayed in this time was very spacious, with high ceiling. Guest room decor is a bit "tired" and bed a bit soft for my taste. The breakfast was superb with good choice of cereal and fruits and perfectly cooked eggs.

I was dumped by other booked hotel last minute as they claimed that they were not able to reach me. I was looking for a place to stay urgently at 830pm in the evening and trusting the brand of Holiday Inn. The location is okay with free car park but the decoration was quite aged.
