"Location wasn’t convenient - there was only a small mini-mart at 5th floor, function room cafe isn’t open, nothing to see or eat within walking distance. Apartment seemed a bit old and had a slight musty smell upon entering the unit, power sockets weren’t conveniently located, TV reception was terrible and both TVs were small and not-smart (ie stream services not available/connectable). The hook for the shower head wasn’t working properly. There were extra towels and mats left hang at the...

Country Garden Danga Bay by Widebed JB

Central District

10/10 Excellent

Our stay at Danga Bay was fantastic! The flat was well-maintained, with functional amenities and clean utensils. The toilets were spotless and hygienic. We loved the comfy beds and the phenomenal view. Overall, everything was perfectly taken care of, making our stay truly enjoyable. The unit had fantastic view of the bay and we managed to watch a couple of breathtaking sunsets. The area around seems to be rundown and nowhere as chic as the pictures suggest.

Ais Kacang Sweet Home Pinnacle Tower

Central District

10/10 Excellent

Pinnacle Tower is a condominium located near KSL in JB, so be aware that this is not your usual hotel check-in. We informed the owner on the day itself via call, as well as once more once we're near the property. Owner was gracious and understanding enough to wait for us even at 12am in the morning, as we entered JB at night and were delayed. Check in was smooth and he kindly explain the facilities in and outside of the apartment to us + informed us of nearby amenities, such as convenience...

the building is very new, entry to the floors required a pass. It’s easy to get a cab from here as there’s a drop off point right in front. The listing is just a room by itself - the toilet had a slight wet smell but not something serious. Floor was a little dusty but doesn’t affect as well. Our concerns were only that the listing next to ours (They separated 1 unit into 2 listings) we could hear them quite loudly. Other than that, it’s a 3-4 min walk to KSL, so it’s quite convenient.
