"City Gate ist leider überhaupt nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Der Service ist ungenügend. Wenn man City Gate erreichen will, nimmt niemand das Telefon ab, niemand ruft zurück und es werden leere Versprechungen gemacht. Schade, da die Wohnung an sich super ist. "

"Very comfortable, well appointed hotel. Soap/shampoo offerings better than what I'm used to in UK hotels. Breakfast was high quality though service in restaurant a bit slow. One caveat: Hotel entrance is from a courtyard off Devonshire Square and not visible from the street. Even London black cab drivers can't find it if they haven't been there before. Use 4 Devonshire Square address for cabs or Ubers than walk up steps into courtyard."

A gem in the city

"I had an amazing stay, the hotel was extremely clean, the amenities were great and the staff were all friendly, warm and so kind! The only issue I had was the best a bit being hard and the pillow needs a bit more fluff- but this is a personal preference so someone might think differently. I’d highly recommend this place especially since it’s close to Liverpool street but a quiet refuge in the middle of the hustle and bustle of London "

"The property was stunning the staff went above and beyond the rooms were big it had everything you needed for a night out to see Robbie Williams concert and come back to a lovely large room fantastic value for money and beautiful hotel my husband loved the rain fall shower I loved the bath fantastic time 11 out of 10 thank you montcalm brewery x"

"The location is super convenient, just a few blocks from a tube station on lines that hit all the major tourist destinations. Our room was comfortable, quite roomy (for London), bathroom, linens, towels, etc all good quality. Front desk staff helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was good for drinks or a quick meal. "

"The location is amazing! Close to shops, food and of course St Pauls. It was a comfortable clean room with all the amenities you required for your stay. I also appreciated the water bottles and refill station by the elevator before you started your day. The only downfall for us was the pillows not a huge fan of down filled pillows but the bed and duvet was extra cozy otherwise. "
