Firmdale, The City of London hotels

"Beautiful, quirky room, with top grade mod cons. VERY comfortable bed, great toiletries available, along with usual tea coffee etc. A super perk was also free soft drinks!! All the staff, from initial front of house to the bar staff in the evening, were so welcoming. We really felt looked after! On a practical note, this is a quiet (amazing for London!) location but right in the heart of the City with a beautiful walk along by the river just a few minutes away. The Shard is less than 20 minutes stroll and Tate Modern is even closer."
