"We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary .. beautiful spot .. beautiful view . We got into our room and had a sweet message written on the window and some balloons .. and had a bottle of bubbles delivered to our room .. thank you for making our anniversary that bit more special "

"We were moved on to Manly Waves sister property Lotus which was effectively an old apartment block 50 metres from where we booked and the employee expected us to know that. Room was significantly lacking and not what I had booked. If possible we would have left and stayed elsewhere. Had to ask for clean towels. Dirty towels where still sitting out front when we left. Mouldy shower and tiles were coated in soap scum. I had a shower with a cockroach too. The couch was stained and belonged in the tip. "

"Great little studio with absolutely everything you could need. Easy check in with friendly staff who were ever so helpful and on hand when required. Brilliant location, you can walk everywhere with taxis and bus stops only seconds outside the door. We chose undercover parking which was also super convenient - just a great place all around."

"My husband and I have stayed at the View multiple times, possible nearly 20 times. It is it go to placebo to stay whenever we venture into the city. The views at night you will never tire of. The buffet breakfast has a lovely range to choose from, sure to please everyone. Parking is an additional $40/night, which is very reasonable for the city."

"Rooms were old and dainted, had issues with the air-conditioning on night 2, they offered fans which was unacceptable so i demanded a new room which they reluctantly obliged after some convincing. Found some of the staff rude and not hospitable. Wont be using this hotel again and will definitely NOT be recommending it to anyone. "

"Very nice location in front of the beach, and close to the main restaurant area. The hotel is ok, however is not 5* by any means. Shaving kit is terribly designed as can't be cleaned, staff is not trained or experienced to a 5 star either, etc. it would make more sense to say it is a 4 star in a good location. "
