"I enjoyed my stay at THE GATE HOTEL RYOGOKU. The location by the river gave it a calm, scenic feel that set it apart from the busier parts of Tokyo. The staff were efficient and clearly well-trained — while not especially warm, their professionalism kept everything running smoothly.
The real highlight was the restaurant. The food was outstanding, and I was especially glad I tried the breakfast one morning — it was worth it.
Overall, a well-run hotel in a great setting, with excellent dining and a polished, professional atmosphere."
"Excellent easily accessible property. Within a block of entrance to Ginza line and konbini. Clean, spacious room with separate shower room and separate water closet, well-stocked kitchenette, and washing machines (a must during summer), ideal for families. Would recommend to others and stay there again. Keep in mind there is no large lobby with seating where you can wait to check in, and elevators are outdoors, and although covered, still hot during summer."
