Acceptable cheap hotel close to Asakusa Station, nothing special but worth the price. Staff is helpful and friendly but the room service is only every 3 days. The room itself was small and smelled slightly mildewy but served our purpose alright. Would NOT recommend if you have a lot of luggage or >2 people.

Very cozy room, not a lot of space but it’s very reasonable for the price. Excellent location, quick walk to Asakusa station, kaminarimon gate and Senso-ji temple. Kappabashi street and Skytree tower very close too. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. The terrace was amazing at night, very relaxing with lit up Skytree tower view. Beds are hard if you’re into that, you can request foam pillows if the ones you have aren’t to your liking. Bathroom is super small but has everything necessary and was clean. Special thanks to Hattori, Le and the rest of the staff who made our stay fantastic. Would stay again maybe get one of the bigger rooms.

KOKO Hotel Asakusa Komagata is excellent. Its location cannot be better: literally 1 minute away from Asakusa train station where you can connect to everywhere in Tokyo including a direct train to (and from) Narita Airport (you take the "Asakusa Line" which continues as Keisei Line Sky Access after Oshiage station). There's a Family Mart convenience store just across the street where you can get everything. The rooms are cozy -- small for US standards, but good size for Tokyo standards). Very clean and modern, with a very helpful and cordial staff. If you take a "river view" room you can see the Sky Tree right from your window. Definitely recommend and will be stating there again in the future.

Convenient location close to the subway station , great view to the tower and the river, walking distance to the shrine and shops. Has laundry on site and most convenient thing: luggage pick up and drip off for extra charge so you don't have to haul your luggage across the country.

Loved the rooftop view of the river and the tokyo tower! Free small breakfast before 9am was also very kind. My bathroom did have an off putting smell from when I checked in and it never went away - smelled kind of like mildew and standing water.

Great location in Asakusa - short walk to Nakamise Shopping Street, and Senso-Ji, and just steps from the metro station. Rooms are awfully tiny - bathroom feels like an airplane one. But we had a very comfortable sleep, and enjoyed the included amenities. Rooftop terrasse has an incredible view - wish we had nicer weather to be able to enjoy it!

Lots of shops near by, Sensoji temple is just a couple minutes away, convenience stores are very close by, laundry is in the hotel itself and 24 hours from what I understand. But the accessible rooftop seats to chill and relax has to be arguably the best feature

Nice place! I enjoyed my stay. Rooftop is nice to hang out enjoy food and the nice view. Sensoji temple is right in front and 15 to 20 min walk to Ueno. The room is a bit smaller than I thought but didn't matter anyway. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Very clean, efficient, staff helpful, great view from rooftop, excellent location in the heart of Asakusa. Way overpriced as we unavoidably booked on a long weekend. Very tiny room for 2 people and luggage.

Wonderful stay. Room is small but that's normal in Japan. The hotel was in a great location close to the train station. The rooftop view was so beautiful and each night we would enjoy sitting up there. In the morning we would have our breakfast which was provided with our stay. A pastry and a beverage was included each day. Would stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful.
