"It's our second time at the Clayton and we absolutely love it. I need to know where they purchase their pillows from as they are the absolute best!!"

"Unfortunately the air conditioning in the bedroom did not work, temperature was 22-23.5 degrees. It was very difficult to sleep at night as hot air blown through system and I was exhausted after my stay. In the business events area temperature reached 24 degrees during the day and it was very uncomfortable. There are no windows which can be opened. The room service meals were delivered, first evening the bread was so hard it was completely unbreakable, it had possibly been microwaved and could not be eaten. I ate the food as no other option but could not recommend it. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there are clearly issues with the building which need to be addressed."

"Food menu on website did not match reality. The prices had also changed, in some cases more than 10% Lots of new staff who were not knowledable, helpful or some were not even very polite. Service in the Restaurant was very poor. Long wait times. Eventually got a table, but then sat waiting for a menu and then to order. The menu now on offered is a lot worse than previous menu."

"The bed was far too small - I didn't get a decent night's sleep there due to that. There was a power socket on only one side of the bed - very inconvenient. The wi-fi was very good but very fiddly to connect to. We were charged to park there - this is just grasping. The single lift was glacially slow. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant apart from the woman on reception when we checked out - she was abrupt to the point of rudeness."

"Very spacious and modern decor....excellent location. Used the pool and sauna....helpful desk staff.....plenty of space in the lounge..Good sound insulation. "

"Great hotel in a good location just a short walk into the city centre. Modern interior, great size family room. Lovely bar area with reasonably priced cocktails. Restaurant looked inviting too but we’d already booked elsewhere. Did have the breakfast in there though which was very good. Will be our No.1 choice for any future stays in Cambridge "
