"Balcony to the creek was nice, room was big. Soaker tub was nice. Location was the only thing we didn't care for. Whis it was in walking distance to all the shops and attractions."

"My friend and I stayed for a weekend with my children. When we got there Friday evening it was very easy to check in, finding your room is a little confusing because you cannot see the room numbers due to the balcony we were on the second floor, seem like there was more people that was not staying at the hotel parking in the hotel space, leaving very limited parking for hotel guest or hotel guest didn't have their parking pass in window. Breakfast: was good waffles biscuit and gravy sausage links and scrambled eggs. Pool: there was two pools one with a slide and one without that was pretty nice and very clean One of the nights we did have an incident with our door not latching or locking the polite front office gentleman came to check it out within minutes and was moving us to another room since it was so late and the maintenance guy was off duty but ended up seeing him and said something to him and he came up to the room and fixed our door off clock very nice of him. The last night we were there the fire alarms were going off due to smoke in the laundry room the front office gentleman had no clue until we said something. Suggestion maybe to do some training on fire safety of the hotel with staff and any other emergency that may happen."

"I had a late flight so I arrived late to the hotel but staff was very helpful and detailed on what to stay out on the look for since there are bears in the area. Parking was close to my building and since the hotel is right behind all the activities to do, we really didn’t have to take out the car at all, everything was a walking distance. The only thing I had a problem with was connecting to the WiFi and some stains in my bathtub but other than that the room was okay and had a good view from our balcony."

"We very much enjoyed our stay here! It’s just far enough from the gatlinburg downtown strip that you feel like you’re still in nature. If you’re like us coming to explore the national park and not the “Vegas Vibes” then I strongly recommend this hotel. The people who work the front desk were incredible and took amazing care of us! There’s laundry on site (the front shop sells detergent), the gym was great and the pool was a nice evening activity. Will definitely be staying here again if we visit GSM again!"

"This is a motor lodge with a lovely view of the river from the veranda. You do look at the neighbors across the river. The tub/shower and toilet are in a cramped space. The sink shares the room with the coffee, mini-fridge and microwave counter, and the sliding glass doors to the veranda. Everything is clean, but old. Parking is tough. The inn is a block from the free trolley to downtown Gatlinburg. Breakfast is average continental with some pancake machine as an extra. Bed was comfortable; we slept well. AC worked. Didn't notice the traffic noise out front, maybe the AC provided white noise. We found outlets for all of our devices and the WiFi worked. The hotel had easy driving access to downtown Gatlinburg or Pidgeon Forge. The staff answered our questions, made suggestions and were very pleasant."
