"A wonderful visit on Cretes Wild West coast to friendly, happy & helpful Maria & Nikos operating his family’s third generation hotel & restaurant on a quiet hill overlooking Stomio Bay. It’s just 10 min drive from the beautiful pink sand Elafonisi Beach plus other pretty beaches. Nice clean stay wished we’d had more time to visit!"

"It was a beautiful area with a variety of beaches to choose from, with a beautiful but treacherous dive. I would advise to drive durring daylight hours as the mountains are a bit scary."

"Ce nouvel hôtel est en cours d'achèvement et cela a été assez étrange de nous retrouver les seuls clients ce soir-là avec une réception qui ferme à 16h. Cependant les chambres sont confortables, la literie parfaite et la douche top. La famille qui gère cet établissement fait de son mieux et la bonne surprise a été le petit déjeuner buffet qui a été mis en place pour nous 2 avec des spécialités locales excellentes. "Perhaps the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The views were breathtaking and location was perfect— close to Sougia and Samaria Gorge where we had a beautiful day of hiking. Very romantic for our honeymoon and the staff were beyond kind, generous, and helpful. It was a perfect stay with so much beauty that we will never forget! Highly recommended!!"

"If you are a hiker interested in a great place to walk for several days and where you come back to a great dinner in a quiet place, then this is your spot! If you're just looking for a relaxing place to stay, then the drive there may not be worth the effort. The drive there involves some pretty twisty roads with the last 5 km or so on a dirt/gravel road. Once you get there, getting to the reception area and back out again is pretty tricky involving a narrow one lane road. But again, you...

"We recently stayed at Euphoria Resort in Crete, and it was an incredible experience. We had one of the VIP beachfront rooms (without a pool), and the views were absolutely stunning. The room itself was beautiful and spacious, perfect for relaxing after a busy day with our two small girls. The staff were all so friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making sure we always felt taken care of. There were lots of families staying at the resort, which made it feel even more comfortable and welcoming for our kids. I can’t say enough good things about this resort—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and I would absolutely consider returning in the future when we go back to Greece. If I had to mention two small things (though they’re not really complaints), it would be that in May, the water was still too cold to fully enjoy swimming, both in the pools and the ocean. The other thing was the food. Like many all-inclusive resorts, there were definitely some meals that were better than others, but overall, we were happy with what was offered. All in all, I highly recommend Euphoria Resort if you’re planning a trip to Crete! "

"The service is excellent. The property is recently refurbished and the freshness of interior and exterior design shine through. The food is decent and there is a good variety. Snack bars operating through out day time with kids favorite food. We really liked this facility. The beach is in the property as well, meaning it's accessible through out the day. "

Amazing stay

"This place was an amazing gem. Closest hotel to the beach you will find in the area as well as most modern! I was a bit nervous of the area because everything said 2 or 3 star hotel. This should be a 4 star accommodation for sure. The views are amazing, the staff was very welcoming, and you are just a few minute walk to paradise. The design of the rooms were great and very clean, comfortable beds, and walk out balconies gave enough space for a few night space to be quite comfortable. There isn’t much in the area besides a few restaurants and the beach, which is a plus because it’s pure silence at night. If you’re looking to stay in the area, definitely stay here for its comfort and proximity to the beach. I am surprised they aren’t charging more per night."
