Exceptional property and all around experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It is all around perfect. Everything is meticulous. The food and the staff are incredible. The spa and classes that they offer daily on the property are wonderful. Truly heaven on earth. 100/10.

This is my favourite hotel on earth and I have been here more than 15 times. The luxury is in the space the attention to detail and the true feeling that you are in Bali not in a concrete box. The food is exceptional the service outstanding there is nowhere like it on earth and that’s why I keep coming back.

Amazing stay from start to finish
Staff is beyond attentive and kind, and cannot rave enough about the wellness and holistic options available. Truly a hidden oasis - especially recommend staying on the estate and exploring the grounds and springs.

Tranquility, peace and happiness!
Exceptional stay at Villa 5. Beautiful grounds, lovely 3 level villa and pool, food in Glow was outstanding, our PA Sunarta made our stay and changing itinerary seamless and no effort. Treatments perfect especially outside down at the spring. The people are lovely, genuine, listen and remember. Highly recommended for peace and quiet!

Get away from it All!
Had a wonderfully quiet 3 night stay with my husband for our 20th wedding anniversary. We indulged in several massages and several activities put on by the Hotel. It's a 15 minute drive from Ubud itself, but it's remoteness from the main road ensures a very quiet stay. Hotel was impeccable and the staff more than helpful. The food was delightfully healthy and creative. Would recommend staying if you just want to get away from it all.

Great Hotel but overrated
We visited 5 beautiful hotels in Bali and this was the worst and the most expensive. The Hotel itself is great and provides lots of services including many traditional spa treatments. The Villa we stayed in was also nice and the Hotel accommodated us when we asked to move rooms because there was a ceremony going on for 3 days next to our room which was all days long and noisy. It was not the hotels fault the ceremony was going on but we got downgraded without a refund or any compensation but the noise from drums and chicken fights was unbareable from our Villa which we however moved back into after the Ceremony was over. The staff is trained to up sell everything which got very annoying after one day and it feels like they are on a commission. As this is a realtivly expensive resort you would expect the Hotel to go above and beyond to be accommodating on requests which they did but they charged for everything which we didn't mind but you felt ripped off. For example, if you asked for the chicken meal but instead of potatoes you wanted steamed vegetables then they would charge you for the chicken meal without the potatoes and charge you for a Vegetable entree they had on the menu. As we had some dietary restrictions each meal therefore costs over USD$100 for 2 people which for lunch is excessive in my opinion. The Hotels we loved and would recommend are the Villas at Ayana Resort and Spa, The Viceroy, The Four Seasons at Sayan, The Kayon Resort Ubud.

Como Shambhala Amazing!
An amazing hotel the location, staff and facilities. I had an incredible time at the hotel, from a speedy and efficient check in at 2.00am in the morning, the excellent classes Pilates and Yoga. Many thanks to Buddi for helping me to improve on my yoga. The staff for their kind and friendly conversations. The wonderful Estate Walk in the mornings with a guide best way to start the day. I cant wait to return.

Gem hiding in Jungles
It is absolutely a paradise once you enter the estate. The facilities, service and food are the best I've experienced from luxury hotels. Every guest has their own room assistant who spend time to discuss travel plan and daily needs. Remember to bring your sports and Yoga gear as there are complimentary estate walk and yoga classes. On one morning, I also saw monkeys travelling through the jungles and my roof. Had a really good time there.

Truly surreal exprience!
I have had the pleasure of staying here four times now. The facility, staff, food, spa, and location all combine to create a perfect experience. This is a low- density, very upscale Estate dedicated to relaxation and healing the spirit. If you like 'action', or believe there's a problem when you don't see other guests, then stay elsewhere. Highly recommended!

Paradise in Ubud, Bali
Doubtlessly second to none hotel in Bali, and maybe in Asia. Great get away, very quiet, well organized and gorgeous pool villas with a balanced mix of traditional Balinese architecture and modern appliances. The hotel's various activities provided half board basis were best to relax body and soul.

Get With The Program!
Wonderful place. It's a wellness resort! Consider looking at their website before coming with the kiddies, or expecting a posh location from which to tour Bali. It is suitable for neither. Once you get with the program, it's difficult to leave. Truly spectacular. I miss it already.

Perfect holiday in COMO.
It was really comfortable stay in COMO Shambhala Hotel. Very huge, environmetally freinldy, nice food, kind employees. All things I have experienced was really cool. I think this place is not only perfect for couples but also families.

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage etwa 30min Autofahrt von Ubud entfernt. Gepflegter Garten und viel Ruhe erwartet die Gäste. Das Hotelpersonal ist aussergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel bietet auf einem für Ubud hohen Preisniveau viel für Gesundheit und Wohlbefinden.

今まで３０回以上バリに来ていますが、一番すぐれていると思いました。いつも子供や母と来ていましたが、今回は女性の友人と来ました。とはいえ価値観もバックグラウンドも異なっている者同士 だったのですが、双方を満足させてくれるものでした。何より素晴らしいのはサービスです。パーソナルバトラーが各部屋に一人ついてくれますが、ありとあらゆるニーズに応えてくれるその精度は 素晴らしいと思います。オーガニックな食事、デイリーアクティビティ、マッサージ、そしてジャングルの景観は最高のものでした。お値段の価値を補って余りあるように思います。
