Having visited 32 countries in 50 years and so many hotels this is by far the best hotel I have ever been to. Hospitality and staff coordination is outstanding they answer your needs before you even ask.

This was the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Everything from the beautiful environment to the attentive staff (particularly our amazing personal butler Kewin) to the amazing tours (especially our waterfall tour guide Gus De and our rafting guide whose name we unfortunately can’t remember…it began with M!) to the unique experiences they crafted for us, this was a truly luxury travel experience. Can’t wait to visit again!

This resort is a 7 star property and in my opinion a must stay property in Ubud. It's all about the service and how they make you feel. It all starts with a warm welcome with your butler , the manager , and rest of the welcome team. Everything was perfect! Our patih, Louis, made sure of it. We had a wonderful full day excursion, where Gudse took us to many unique places you would never find yourself. After day 1, the team at Sawah Terrace knew my order before i placed it. Warning: you will be spoilt! One of our favorite activities was the Connect to reconnect, Dinar and Pragynaan were so knowledgeable , when we did the BalineseHerbal Healing. The only other properties I find comparable are the Royal Mansour and Udaivillas.

Mandapa is a beautiful property with the highest level of service. They also pay attention to the small details like providing extra complimentary items for those celebrating a special occasion and providing complimentary amenities above and beyond what I would expect. On top of that, Mandapa organizes a huge range activities for guests. They have a ton of relationships with local vendors so you’ll receive special attention around town as a Mandapa guest. Justine, Dina, and Gus De made our stay extra special. If you’re wondering whether the splurge is worth it, it is!

It was beyond our expectation. Everything from the room the service was beyond excellence. We knew that the place being a ritz Carlton the hotel would be spectacular but the service was what this set this hotel aside. Everyone from the general manager to our butler Justine made our stay beyond our wildest imagination. We would definitely be returning back here!

Вид на реку Аюнг и тропические леса, абсолютное единение с природой! Идеально для романтический путешествий! Hotel/resort @mandapareserve was simply fantastic by all accounts! It’s rare that I really love a hotel, but this was the exception that proved the rule, topping all expectations! Beautiful landscapes, a personal butler (Dendi, many thanks!) wonderful room, all in one eco-style, and service and food higher than any praise can serve justice! Gorgeous views over there Ayung river valley and tropical forests, you really feel at one with Mother Nature! Perfect for a romantic holiday!!

Every now and then you get a property that 5/5 seems unfair to it. It beats on location, property, service and people. It’s almost too good to have to suffer people reviewing it. It deserves to be on a “best of” list. Grab it before it is.

This is a wonderful hotel and a beautiful property. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Unfortunately, while we were there, we did experience some issues, which I would not expect from a 5 star (and expensive) resort, but the manager and staff went above and beyond to make up for it. There was construction on the property that is right in your sightline if you are sitting anywhere at the main pool area. Also, during our short stay (2 nights), they lost power for about 2 hours during dinner time while we were eating on property at Kubu, and lost Wi-Fi and television access from about 6 pm until almost noon the next day. That being said our breakfast every morning was amazing, and dinner at Kubu was delicious. We did acupuncture at the spa, which was enjoyable as well. I guess at this price point, I was hoping for a flawless experience and we did not have that.

Heaven on earth.
I have been fortunate enough to stay at some wonderful hotels all over the world, but this place is really the most memorable I’ve visited. Where to start is the problem! We had a one-bedroom suite which was spacious and very stylishly decorated, situated on the side of a hill with the most wonderful views over a river and terraced rice fields. The food was delicious, creative and cbeautifully presented and comprising the very freshest ingredients, particularly in their fine dining restaurant, Kubu which is really spectacular. The service was next to none. All the staff were beautifully trained, extremely friendly and willing and really seemed to want the guests to have the best experience possible. They never missed a thing - for instance I was sitting outside at dinner one evening and felt slightly chilly and the next thing I knew, someone had placed a pashmina around my shoulders - without me saying a word! That really sums up the atmosphere of this stunningly beautiful place. I can’t rate this hotel too highly and just hope I will be able to return one day.
