"Clean room and very convenient location! You're next to alot of great places to start walking from. A great location for going out and exploring during the night or day! Especially the night life! Everything is literally just a couple of blocks away and walking is fun in the city! We came here for a last minute get away and to celebrate the chinese new years which of course was packed! So we got lucky funding this spot. Annnnd the huge bonus is the parking garage is LITERALLY RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!! "

Old antiquated they put some money into it to pretty it up but we typically stay at the Clift for the same price and it is far superior in every aspect. Also the elevator situation where you go up a floor and change to another is a joke. Total letdown"

"This is a historic property important to the history of San Francisco. The lobby has been re-done by Phillip Stark, and was popular with young workers on weekday afternoons. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would reserve it again. "
