Very friendly staff, assisted with our luggage which was wonderful and got our tv working. Room was quaint with modern bathroom but some steps inside require you to be alert as they are hard to notice ( maybe signage). Overall would stay again definitely.

Lovely people slightly tired, very small room. Smallest shower I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was good Continental but the outside terrace was also tired - the canopy was dirty and dripping stagnant water in places. Overall 6/10 saved by the staff who were really helpful.

Great place to stay in Venice

It was a great stay for my family. Really enjoyed the old town feel of the property. We had issue with our map app and arrived really late the first night. The owner waited us past 2am until we arrived. Awesome people who really cares about the guests experience. Would highly recommend!

The Cà dei Leoni is a small family run hotel. While it is close to the train station and many of the popular location. It is tucked away in a quite corner away from the turmoil of the crowds. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are compact and well maintained. Break

Pleasant stay in a great location

This little hotel is located in a fantastic area of Venice, we were initially worried that it was too far out from the center but it was perfect! Close to a jazz cafe (Laguna Libre), House De Crepes and a few other little gems - was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and happy to help! The hotel room itself was okay - the bed wasnt the most comfortable and the headboard wasn't attached so every slight movement made it bang against the wall; it was however generally tidy and the cleaners come round every day, very glad to have had air con also! Very pleasant stay overall :)

I booked an economy room and sadly, this room was not good. There was mold on the wall next to the bed. Thankfully we were moved to a clean beautiful room the next day and this was very pleasant. Staff is super nice and the location restful! Breakfast was outstanding!

You won't find anywhere better in Venice

We had a great stay at Cà dei Leoni ('House of the Lions'). It's a lovely little family-run hotel in a great location. It's about an eight-minute walk from the station, and just round the corner from a useful Vaporetto (water bus) stop (Crea). Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice - served in the enclosed and covered garden. Most importantly, the owners and staff are super friendly and really made us feel welcome. Nicolo is a great source of information and will give you some great tips to make your visit to Venice even more enjoyable. We highly recommend it. You really won't find anywhere better in Venice.

Stay here at your own risk

Had a non-refundable (I’ll never make that mistake again) booking for two nights at this hotel in Venice in late September, 2023. We arrived on the train from Milan and checked in midafternoon. Admittedly, once we got to the room, it was not what we expected. The room was tired and dingy. Cracked and broken glass on the nightstand and peeling paint on the walls and floor among other things. Definitely NOT a three star hotel in any part of the world that we’ve traveled to. Since it was a non-refundable reservation AND we were already out over $300 USD, we figured that as long as the bed was comfortable and that the shower worked, we would stay. After heading out into Venice for the afternoon and grabbing some dinner, we eventually made it back to the room around 9pm. We climbed into bed looking forward to a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel and that’s when the mosquitoes started swarming. We got no sleep….none. We hid under the sheets whenever we weren’t trying to kill the mosquitoes. This went on all night long. I told the proprietor the following morning about the mosquitoes and he couldn’t care less. He mumbled something about putting a “machine” in our room and this would take care of our mosquito problem in an hour. We declined his very generous offer (along with his offer not to charge us a city tax), called Hotels.com to complain about this situation then got the hell out of there. The proprietor wouldn’t refund our money for the second night. Imagine that!

It would have been nice to know IN ADVANCE that we had to climb a flight of stairs to use the bathroom of our room. Some hooks for the towels in the bathroom and a place for toiletries would be inexpensive and would simplify the life of the guests.

Very friendly staff Hotel is older but they all are. we had a quad room and it was large and all functional. It was about a 10-12 min walk from train station and the restaurants around the hotel we all being enjoyed by locals and it was safe . Would recommend and it is very close to the crea water taxi stop

Esperienza molto positiva e piacevole

L'hotel si trova a 8 minuti dalla stazione e per noi è stato strategico, dovendo prendere il treno per il rientro al mattino presto. Il titolare molto disponibile a dare spiegazione e suggerimenti sui luoghi da visitare e in cui cenare. Non potendo fare la colazione per la partenza troppo mattiniera, ci è stato consegnato in camera tutto il necessario per poter fare colazione in comodità e in abbondanza. Veramente speciali. La zona è molto tranquilla. Hotel consigliatissimo.

Hotel muy bueno, cordial, amables, limpio. Baño con toallas,.papel, vasos en cantidad suficiente, lo que es muy importante. Salimos muy temprano de viaje, y tuvieron la gentileza de servirnos el desayuno anticipadamente en la habitación.

Bien dans l ensemble

Tres bon acceuil ,personnel sympathique et tres attentionné . Chambre petite mais propre ,ainsi que salle de douche et toilette nickel. Par contre des voisins italiens parfois bruyants.. La veranda ou l on prend son petit déjeuner est dans son jus. Hotel bien placé.
