I don’t recommend this property, bathroom was in very bad condition, mould was under shower, desk on toilet to small.

I enjoyed my stay here, very large shared living room area in the apartment with kitchen facilities, big room with comfortable bed too. Great for the price.

Terrible service hope you go bust
Absolutely horrendous service from the Dorso Duro hotel. I booked and tried to call multiple times as my arrival time would be outside of the standard hours and it states to call and they can accommodate this. After 8-10 calls without response I boarded my flight and when I landed I tried again with no reply the hotel was still open at this point. I reached the hotel to find it closed and no one answering a mobile number that I was calling repeatedly resulting in me having no accommodation. They have since declined my request to refund my stay even though I followed their instructions and still could never access the property absolute shambles of a host hope they go bust

Maibe you call the wrong phone number couse we didnt any call from you.Just to be clear with people like you....We have sent you in advance the code to get in anytime.So why you didnt use it.Probably you never come to Venice and you want just to make some money.Have a wonderful lifw

This place is not safe. Do not stay here. Random people came into the apartment, threw a party, and started harassing other guests. Banging on doors, flipping tables, all through the night. Tried reaching out to owner but never got a response. Scary situation, I do NOT recommend!

Mosquito heaven
Inexpensive with cheap quality. Bed was uncomfortable. Apartment was overrun with mosquitos. Was constantly buzzed and bitten all night long. Should not have to wear bugspray to bed. Staff did not send access code until after we left US so we did not get the email until the day after we arrived. They insisted they sent it earlier but we checked our email at the airport in Venice before we came in to town and it was not there. Had to spend $450 to stay in another hotel the first night. Do not stay in this place unless you like poor service and bug bites.

Excellent location ten minute walk from train station. Alongside a canal and close to restaurants. Dorm like feel with a community kitchen

The property was easy to locate and a short 10 mins walk from the station. We stayed for 1 night. We opted for garden view but wasn't aware that the garden was actually the back of a church. There are private bathrooms however it is located outside your room so if in the middle of the night you wanted to use the washroom it means u walk out across the hall to your bathroom open the door and then close the door. My fear was I was waking up the neighbors as the doors creaked while opening and closing. The room itself is very spacious and lots of storage. The bed is comfortable. We were able to check in early since the room was available. We also checked out and was able to hold our luggages in the lobby however wasn't able to use the bathroom when we came to pick up our luggage. All in all a good stay

El lugar no es nada como las fotos que muestran para la renta, es viejo, sucio y en muy malas condiciones, inseguro ya que al ser baño compartido no tienen seguros las puertas, solicitamos el reembolso por una noche que no utilizamos porque nos sentimos inseguras y se negaron a pesar de todo, le permitieron la entrada a una persona ajena y llegó gritando a los huéspedes y abriendo puertas, no lo contraten por nada

Die Zimmer sind sehr unterschiedlich. Unseres hatte leider einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch, begründet wahrscheinlich durch den Einbau einer Toilette im Zimmer. Es wurden 5 Euro pro Nacht und Nase zusätzlich an Gebühren verlangt.

Truffa sulla tassa di soggiorno! Ho effettuato una prenotazione per una doppia in questa struttura pagando tutto online, eccetto naturalmente le tasse di soggiorno da pagare direttamente in loco. Il soggiorno, nonostante la struttura sia un po' datata, è stato ottimo. L'unica sorpresa al momento del check-out: ci sono stati chiesti 20 euro di tassa di soggiorno anziché i 6 € previsti da prenotazione giustificando la differenza come un errore. State attenti a questi giochetti ed esigete il rispetto della cifra per cui avete prenotato, anche per soli 20 euro in più trovate di meglio.

Appena entrati veniamo accolti da una puzza di fogna mista ad altro (che è meglio non specificare) che ci ha accompagnato per tutta la permanenza. Il bagno è letteralmente in camera, con solo il water posto in un minuscolo stanzino, mancante di bidet. In camera è presente un condizionatore e un set di cortesia con asciugamani di vari misure. Buona solo la posizione vicino alla stazione, ma non ci ritornerei.

Muy bonito lugar, la habitación que nos toco tenía vista a la calle y se veía el canal de Venecia con los botes. La comunicación con el administrador fue buena. Recomiendo este lugar para quien quiera quedarse en Venecia

Grande comodità e libertà. Un appartamento a disposizione. La struttura era stata appena riaperta dopo il lockdown, tutto funzionava comunque perfettamente. L'unico neo: un po' di polvere sul pavimento, ho avuto l'impressione che le pulizie non fossero state fatte il giorno prima del mio arrivo ma giorni prima.

Convenient location, good communication with staff
Great location as for the luggage handling from Piazzale Roma, the guest house has a spacious room with an external, yet private bathroom. The city tax payed on spot was higher than what Hotels.com confirmed in the confirmation email. The place is great for the convenience more than comfort, but even that was palatable for a single night stay.
