Overall wouldnt stay again or recommend. The pros were the location, breakfast and waitress staff at breakfast who was absolutely lovely and so helpful. Other Staff polite but not overly helpful, room clean but needs serious work and updating and photos do not represent the actual state and size of the room. On messaging staff for help as the air con was off and only heating available, despite the rooms being incredibly hot and worse at night trying to sleep, they just said to turn the heating off although it wasnt on. No air con as advertised and no fans either. They also have a serious mosquito issue so each time we opened the window for some fresh air the room would again be full of them resulting in us both being bitten multiple times. The bathroom is incredibly small and you cant even sit on the toilet without hitting your knees on the bidet so dont stay if you are over 5ft 5 max. Shower extremely small. Staff were rude in message responses and very unhelpful when asked to change rooms.

Super gelegen - Frühstück klein, aber reicht aus! Zimmer grundsätzlich absolut komplett ausreichend. Decke und Handtuch hatten einen Fleck, könnte man genauer drauf achten. Unterteller der Kaffeetasse hatte Essenreste dran kleben. Bad neu und modern, aber sollte generell mal gründlich in den Fugen gereinigt werden. Vorab eine Anfrage an das Hotel geschrieben bezüglich Lokal Empfehlungen, leider niemals darauf reagiert. Mitarbeiter freundlich, aber nicht sehr gesprächig. Für 2 Nächte absolut ausreichend.

This was my first time to Italy, and my wife and I were very surprised to learn that the AC had been turned off for the season. In mid-october the temps were still high enough to need AC to keep the room comfortable. I feel as though this was no clearly communicated to us by either hotels.com or the hotel itself. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t know. Hotels.com was helpful in addressing our concerns. The hotel itself was in a good location with plenty of good restaurants around. I’m sure we would’ve enjoyed our stay if we could’ve been a little more comfortable in our room.

Das Hotel ist eher für Erwachsene geeignet. Super Zentral gelegen. Unser Zimmer war klein aber okay fürs Übernachten. Alles da was man braucht. Fliegengitter wären toll, da es viele Mücken gab. Der Fön ist für dickere Haare eine Herausforderung. Das Frühstück ist einfach aber alles vorhanden.

Absolute Gem in Venice

This is a perfect spot to stay in Venice. Mere steps from the Grand Canal and St Marks but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator but the staff are happy to carry bags!

The check in was pretty simple but the receptionist offered us to switch from out terrace room toman1st floor(which was actually on the second floor) room because of our luggage. We agreed but after going into our new assigned room we decided to go back and ask for our original room because the room did not have a view and it was going to rain the next few days. She said No I cannot help you. We then scanned the room and found that one of our white towels was stained by some brown substance, the comforter was dirty and the remote had some strange chunky stuff on it. Great location but will not ever stay again.
