the staff was very nice and helpful. the hotel is beautiful. there are A LOT of stairs, but dont let it deter you unless you are unable to climb multiple flights. The beds are VERY firm, but it seems like all of them in Italy are. The only thing that I would change was the breakfast. It's not included and its minimal. We chose to eat breakfast other places for variety and cost comparison.

The small but new bathroom, good position in ka zone, the habitation should be modernize, the plugs in poor states little light. The sleeping blanket should not cover it and has a bad sensation to the body. The staff very professional.

The hotel has a good location, very close to restaurants and important sites. The decor is frightening. From the moment you walk in, the bad smell is very strong. The smell of damp inside the room is overwhelming. It's very noisy inside the hotel. There's no elevator. And something very strange is that you have to leave your room keys at reception; you have no privacy

Seeing it from outside, you would not expect the very special inside. Very barok, fabric even on the walls. Plus: location 2min walk from Bridge of Sighs, good aircon, good bed, properly functioning fridge. Min: shower head should be replaced. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The location was absolutely perfect! The staff was really friendly and the hotel was easy to get to from the S. Zaccaria vaporetto stop. A truly Venetian style hotel that is true to the city, might look old to the outside but very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again!
