"Don’t forget to add in the resort fee to your total cost. Overall the resort was generally clean, but housekeeping didn’t even come for a whole day so we had to call for extra towels and such. The property was under construction, so there was some noise distraction but not too much. Pet friendly, which is a benefit; however, not when dogs are whimpering and howling at 5 am. The staff was fantastic, even the bartender who made my kids Shirley Temples with extra cherries. The waterpark was fun; kids enjoyed the lazy river, and its small enough to let the older kids roam without worry."

"The hotel was awesome but I don’t think the room they put me in was the one I paid for online. The pictures were showing a larger room and a sofa and balcony. We did not have those but had a smaller room and still paid over $500 for 2 nights. It was our first time there. I guess I’ll never know."

"The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms feel more like small apartments than traditional hotel rooms, and the overall quality of the property is very good. Unfortunately, my experience was negatively affected by unexpected fees and the check-in process. I reserved and paid for my room in advance through Expedia, but when I arrived, I was charged an additional $79 in fees that I was not expecting. This included a $20 parking fee just to park at the hotel where I was already staying. These additional charges should be communicated much more clearly during the reservation process. The check-in experience was even more disappointing. After checking in, the desk clerk asked if I would like a welcome packet and free coupons for local restaurants. I agreed and was directed to another counter. Instead of simply receiving the promised welcome information and coupons, I was immediately given a sales pitch for a timeshare. I found this approach misleading and unnecessary. Guests arriving after traveling generally want to check in, get settled, and enjoy their stay—not be redirected into a sales presentation under the impression that they are receiving a welcome packet. The property itself is top-notch, but the hidden fees and aggressive timeshare sales tactics significantly diminished the experience. It is a very nice hotel with business practices that could be much more transparent and guest-friendly."
