"Just had a great stay at this charming & welcoming hotel. 1st time in the area. Called ahead the day before to arrange an early check in as I was attending a funeral at the scheduled check in time. Parking was on site - and check in was easy & quick. Room was spacious, clean and lovely en-suite. Tea/coffee & biscuits provided, plus bottled water & snacks. TV & WiFi easy to access. Bed was large & very comfy. Quiet area - with easy access to seafront, and local town. Bar was well stocked & enjoyed a drink with the host on my return. Would highly recommend & use again next time I’m in the area."

"The only downside to our stay at the royal hotel was the single glazed windows should be double glazed because the noise from the bars and clubs nearby unacceptable especially between midnight to 3am Otherwise our stay was lovely "
