Hotel staff were all fantastic. View of the Matterhorn from the room's balcony. Architecture and art was very interesting and cool. All of that created an amazing experience.

Laura was very accommodating with assisting us getting to the hotel as our flight didn’t get into Geneva till 8pm and there was a three hour train ride to get to Zermatt. She arrange our taxi and everything went so smooth. Thank you Laura. Overall great stay and the food was lovely.

Enjoyed our stay here as it was central to downtown Zermatt. The breakfast buffet included was nice and so was the spa access inclusion for guests. The room, was ok. Beds were comfortable. The complaint is in the layout of the room - it’s small and there is no privacy from the bathroom to the bedroom which makes it uncomfortable if you’re staying with others. The patios are very close to one another and that also makes it very uncomfortable if you have people who smoke staying next to you. The deck outside of our room felt unsafe to be on, it definitely needs to be repaired before someone gets hurt and the room air conditioning was the worst I’ve experienced for the price I payed for the hotel. Otherwise - staff were great, super kind.

What a fabulous hotel. Beautifully designed with great attention to design detail. Superb location, very comfortable rooms. We unfortunately didn’t have time to use the spa but it looked lovely. One minor point was that the bath towels were a bit on the small side, which was slightly at odds with the general opulence of the hotel. The staff were charming, capable and friendly.

Your property is so unique and lovely. Our "Stars and Sky" Suite was just pure beauty! Everything was just stellar! The Spa was a treat for all the senses. WELL DONE! We just loved the artistic flare. We will return for sure!

Overall this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. The owner, amenities, restaurant, and overall staff was superb. My only complaint is of the staff member in charge of the spa facilities, he was a little rude.

We (my wife, me and our dog!) stayed for two nights in one of the suites on the top floor - the room was massive and had amazing views! It was quite handy having a kitchen plus a nice telescope. We used the spa too which was great. Breakfast was nice and the property is centrally located. They also provided a shuttle to and from the station free of charge. Would highly recommend staying here!

My partner and I enjoyed this hotel. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a glass of Prosecco while the staff delivered out bags to our room. We stayed in the cube suite. While unconventional (elevated loft in the center of the room with an open concept bathroom below) the room layout did grow on us. Although, the large bathtub does not fill fast enough at all. The large balcony was amazing. The themed spa was also very enjoyable but it is only open from 1pm-9pm which is a bit limiting. The quality of the hotel (room and spa) was slightly below a true luxury hotel, but we enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel is beautiful and has delicious restaurant. But service is so poor, I think they overwork their workers. Cause people are really nice, but look extremely busy most of the time. Also it was problems with the heat in our room, it was super annoying. And design is great, but not for a vacation. It was really annoying to get to restroom in our room and floors are cold. I would recommend it for pictures and restaurant, but not for a stay.

The receptionists Benjamin and Anna were absolutely fantastic! They were warm, friendly & approachable from the moment we stepped in the hotel. We knew what was expected and details were given. The facilities were amazing! We had welcome drinks on arrival. The interior design is beautiful and unique. The spa area is well maintained. The room was cosy and had a fire place. Perfect setting for the nice winter visit! Breakfast was lovely. The woman that served breakfast was very nice and checked if we had any dietary requirements, and we did. The Portuguese driver/porter was very helpful and friendly! He patiently waited on us at the train station. Thank you Backstage Boutique Hotel for the lovely stay!!

My Wife and I stayed here to celebrate my wife's Birthday. I pre booked a Cake and Bubbly on arrival, we were warmly greeted by a very friendly Man called Daniel, who welcomed us in the most amazing way, we were given a glass of Bubbly while Daniel in the most professional manner arranged for the cake and bubbly to be placed in our AMAZING ROOM......Daniel is an Amazing person and made us feel so very welcome, was extreemly helpful on all fronts, breakfast was also wonderful, service first class, location could not be better....what else can I say....but I will end by saying Daniel, from myself and my wife, Thank you so very much for making our week so very very Special. Since I arrived during night time, the night time receptionist was a bit rude when I tried to call in for taxi puckup service at train station. Room setup was not very user friendly but acceptable. Having said that, services by other staff were fine. Since there're so many hotels to choose from in this area, can consider other options.

Best stay of any hotel I have been to anywhere. Movie theatre, outdoor hot tub and spa, nice little breakfast, fireplace in room, lovely view from the balcony, great staff and so central to everything. Wished we could have stayed here every night of our stay in Switzerland!
