Commune with nature and explore the great outdoors at Apex Mountain during your travels in Penticton. Wander the lakeside and beautiful beaches in the area.
On a Saturday morning, make sure to take a walk along Main Street and check out the street market and food trucks. Lots of friendly folks with their dogs and children.

Great place to explore, love the lake and the attractions near by. Great for kids and adults. Noticed the homeless people has increased.

Love it there.. Started vacationing there 4 years ago and have gone at least once every year since. Sometimes twice. This year will be going again later in the summer and hopefully be staying at the riverside. Would consider retiring in Penticton.

Lovely beach areas, riding the tubes down the channel on a hot summer day is a great option for people, nice restaurants, however a lot of things close very early.

Penticton has always been the diamond of the Okanagan. Well worth the painful drive through Kelowna

We were there for a figure skating competition. It was very easy to find our way around. And everything was close.
"We recently stayed at Beachside Motel in Penticton and had a pleasant experience. We booked three one-bedroom suites.
The biggest advantage is definitely the location—just steps from Skaha Beach, which makes it super convenient for families and anyone wanting to enjoy the lake. It’s also a lot quieter than Okanagan Lake. 3 minutes drive from Walmart, 7 minutes from Canadian Superstore.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. The motel offers handy amenities such as air conditioning, two queen beds with a sofa bed (easily accommodating a family of four), an outdoor eating and BBQ area, and a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, which are great for longer stays.
That said, the rooms are a bit dated and could use some upgrades, but they were clean and comfortable, which was what mattered most for us. The rates are also quite reasonable compared to other places in the area.
Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, family-oriented stay near the beach, Beachside Motel is a solid choice."
"The private beach is awesome. The motel rooms are nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Hotel toiletries and chocolate are nice. Some rooms are dog-friendly, but not all the hotel facilities. It gets difficult to find parking at night, it would be great if each room would have an assigned parking spot."
"We stayed here for a few days over the BC Day long weekend. It was crazy expensive because of that, but that was my only really complaint. Also because of this being a factor, it was super, super busy. Overall was a good stay and I’d stay again, just maybe not during a busy long weekend next time. Everything is pretty close by which is nice as well. "
"Resort style vacation! Nice rooms, great restaurant on site, easy parking, with courtyard style spaces around a central pool. Note though that If you’re not a fan of small children and kids in general, this might not be the place for you lol, it’s very family-oriented which is great, but chaotic at times around the pool and hot tub areas. "
