So far it's the best place (out of five) I've stayed in Japan on this trip. Hotel is very comfortable and inviting with interesting history. Rooms are well sized and well designed making out stay really pleasant.
Staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Japanese breakfast was incredible with fish option. Facility is immaculate and well located to temples. Highly recommend this hotel.
A lovely historic building in a great location next to the wonderful park where the deer roam. Great breakfast, we had the second best eggs benedict of our experience. Staff very sweet and helpful.
The staff were very kind and patient. They have excellent customer service. Will love to stay there again when I visit Nara again.

A highlght from our trip. If you can, definitely stay here at least one night, instead of doing a day-trip to Nara (more time if you can spare it!) The hotel and staff are just fantastic. This gives you an idea of what you can expect from a hotel that receives foreign and local dignitaries and heads of state.
Walking distance from the park/ landmarks and also restaurants and shopping nearby.
The room itself was ample (more than you will probably see in your whole stay in Japan) with modern rooms incorporated into a fantastic historic building.

A beautiful old building, a wonderful Suite with two bathrooms, two balconies unfortunately no balcony furniture to sit outside, the staff was helpful and friendly.
Great location to reach many Nara highlights, restaurants and shops by foot.
Beautiful hotel, surrounded by greenery, next to a beautiful garden and, a walking distance from the Nara Park. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Overall an outstanding hotel.
A beautiful hotel, a little outdated but with charm.
Fine restaurant for dinner and breakfast, barkeeper makes good cocktails. Our one day stay was too short, love to come back.
